La Vie En Rose — Local services in Cliffside Park

I want to say first of all I’ve been going here for years and it is phenomenal. Friendliest staff, warm and welcoming. Amelia is my hairstylist and she’s amazing!! Her cuts and blowouts come out phenomenal! I have never been to anyone better and I have never seen anyone leave there unhappy with a service provided by her. I noticed a review posted recently and I feel compelled to correct that because I happened to be in the salon at that time and I’m a little disturbed at how the other client acted. I was waiting for a cut and blow dry by Amelia and she was in the process of a blow dry with said client I’m referring too, which came out absolutely stunning, and the picture depicted in the photo posted is ABSOLUTELY NOT how her hair looked leaving there. Amelia did an absolute amazing job on her blow dry and she was still unhappy, Amelia then tried to rectify it and continued to straighten it and she proceeded to walk out without paying. Then continued to call the salon and harass them stating she was going to write a bad review when everything was done to accommodate her. Although you can’t please everyone, walking out without paying was appalling. I have a feeling this woman does this for a living and it’s considered theft of services I believe. Amelia has been the best, most accommodating stylist I’ve ever encountered and totally did not deserve the disrespect that was thrown at her. I have myself, friends and family that go to her and again not one negative comment can be said about Amelia or the staff in all of the years we’ve been...

So last night I had a bleach yellow disaster today in the morning I called the salon and asked if they can see me to correct it they said sure and took me in within minutes when I came in I met Amelia who was so sweet and welcoming then I met Rose who said they can help me with in an hour and my anxiety through the roof being upset with what I did to my hair the not only fixed my hair but created the most amazing color I ever had I was so happy and so relieved they’d re true professionals they cut and styled my hair beautifully I came out feeling like a star I am so thankful for these ladies just wow amazing atmosphere amazing staff and an amazing treatment coming back soon they make u feel and look beyond beautiful thank you Amelia for my hair

Wow! a new vibe to the Cliffside Park Anderson Avenue experience. I have never just walked into a salon, however noticing the ambiance and the attention to detail the owner put into this salon, I could not help but walk in and meet La Vie En Rose (then I met Rose and Simply remarkable). The entire experience was amazing and I can not imagine going to any other hair salon again. In 20 years of coloring my hair I have never had more compliments, not to mention feeling so welcomed and the attention detail the owner gave to me. Never looked better....
