The Local Draft — Restaurant in Fort Mill

Different name but same inconsistent, inattentive and lackluster service unfortunately, as the trend of mediocre to below mediocre "pseudo sports bars" in the area continues

What I mean by "pseudo sports bar" is a place that has a bunch of TVs, but really isn't a ports bar, as most of the TVs are tuned to things other than live games actually happening at the time, and staff has no idea games are even on, as they seem to be oblivious to most things.

I really wanted to like this place as it is so close to my house but even when grading on a curve, it doesn't come close to getting a passing grade as it was a total bust all the way around.

Poor service from beginning to end, wrong orders, disappearing server, forgetting to get check three times leading to my to go order of wings being cold by the time I was able to finally get my check and leave and try them (not good), never did turn to the game I asked about even after three reminders, I could go on and out, but you get the idea.

Definitely not worth your time in my opinion and I wouldn't be surprised if this place suffered the same fate as The Office eventually.

What a bad experience. Our food was awful. My wings were dry and hard under the sauce and the server said they had thousand island dressing for my salad but the person who brought our food gave me a really not good citrus type dressing. You should ask what the person wants in place of an item they dont have instead of bringing something without asking. Also know your menu as a server. The girl who served us obviously didnt want to be doing her job. Her demeanor was unpleasant and she seemed irritated with helping us. If she is new then train her better and if she isnt then maybe the restaurant industry just isnt for her. My husband got a dip sandwich. The sauce was flavorless and the sandwich was dry. Perhaps under the heat element too long waiting to be served. Our drink was accidentally spilled yet the server left us to clean it up on our own and never offered a refill. We sat with a wet pile of napkins in the middle of the table. We cleaned it up and flagged someone else down to get us a new drink. I work in an a restaurant and so does my husband. This was sub par. This was such a waste of our money. There were other people at our table that also had a bad experience but I cant speak for them. I won't be back here. We wanted to like this place because we loved The Office, but unfortunately we won’t be back. The fact no one was there should have been our first red flag.

I went with a group of 6 and we were all disappointed in the food (except for my friend loved the quesadilla and we liked the fries). They no longer have the buffalo chicken salad or macaroni and cheese side (some go-tos from the prior restaurant). Two people got the Reserve Angus Melt Sandwich and it was just okay. The burger was just okay. I got the Smoke & Blue salad. The lettuce was fresh but I was so disappointed with the steak. I ordered it medium and not only was it not medium, it was one big piece of gristle/fat I had to completely pull apart with my fingers. You can see it pictured and I’m not sure how they would even serve that. Our beers also came out flat.
