We won a gift card to this spot in an Instagram giveaway so we went yesterday to check it out. We're big fans of loaded hot dogs and such so it seemed right up our alley. Our first impression was not good. Not a single person was wearing a mask. I know South Carolina doesn't have a mask mandate, but I've never been somewhere in SC yet where literally no one, including employees, had on a mask (especially with how bad the pandemic is at the moment). Luckily they have an outdoor seating area so we sat out there even though it was very cold out (they do have heaters). As far as the food goes, we got: - Banh Mi Sausage - Brew Dog - Chorizo Mac & Cheese (special) The Brew Dog was my favorite. The toppings were delicious and I loved the Texas Toast bun. I also loved the Banh Mi Sausage. The toppings for the Chorizo Mac & Cheese were delicious, but the mac and cheese itself wasn't great. We really enjoyed the food and I'd love to come back, but I'm definitely not in a hurry to since they don't seem to take the pandemic very seriously.

We have visited Carolina Butcher & Beer Garden several times and love the place. We went to a couple of special events and to listen to live music. It's a gem. The food is so good. I love the poutine fries, the hot dogs and the sausages. Kids menu is solid. My most recent visit had a couple of hiccups. I ordered a liquor drink that didn't come out as expected and I felt like I was treated poorly after returning to get my drink fixed. It was not my fault, nor the bartender's fault and I felt like she was enraged by my complaint. It turns out that the soda gun was not disbursing the syrup correctly. However, the other bartenders I've experienced have been top notch. Also, my daughter fell in the parking lot as we were leaving. It's very dark which makes it dangerous for many reasons. When I tried to get to my daughter on the ground, I almost rolled my ankle. Please be careful in the parking lot, especially on the uneven surfaces where pavement turns to gravel. Definitely a hazard for older folks.

FES Up: F(ood): I have tried the spicy chicken sandwich, the burger, the kids grilled cheese, the fries, onion rings and fried pickled okra. ALL good- esp the chicken sandwich and okra. I found all to be flavorful and good temp when brought out!! I love the sauces that came with the sides. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ E(nvironment): Boy did well need a place like this! Wonderful outside area! Cornhole area, good sized stage but appropriate for venue, long picnic tables and high tops with umbrellas and heaters around. Astro turf and good location for kids and pets. Cool lighting at night. Well done!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ S(ervice): Easy to order, food was correct, upon delivery asked if we needed anything. Only 4 stars because bartender Not wearing mask and also some food runners (not ours!) wearing below the nose or inappropriately. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ See y’all real soon! Great for families, pet lovers, date night, girls night, pretty much anything 😂

I have been here several times and have waited to post a review until issues I had experienced were consistent. I gave two stars because the food and drink selection were good.

The cons outweigh the pros though. If you aren't a regular, you may have a hard time getting a drink at the bar. I was passed over several times for servers to chat with others about why they weren't there last night or a specific night. Also it might help if there was a specific spot to order drinks at the bar. My wife and I consistently have had people reaching over or around to order drinks as there is no dedicated area. It makes it a bit hard to eat when you are constantly moving.

The live acts that were inside when I was there (guessing due to weather) were approaching a volume level that was becoming a hinderance to even attempt to order. It normally would not be an issue but being the inside isn't very large it creates a situation where customers inside are attempting to scream over the music to talk. I had to repeat my order at the bar several times for the server to hear. It might be fine outside but at 1pm on the weekend they may need to rethink the setup. I like live music and don't mind some noise but the level here is pretty brutal.

If you are concerned with covid-19 and distancing, you may want to look elsewhere as well. There are more people without masks than with and no requirements to be a certain distance apart. There are several large tables inside that quickly fill up creating a very tight seating area whether social distancing or not.

I am sure that this place is doing well based on the amount of people there but this will quickly become another place in this area that is just for regulars that are hammered by 1pm which is fine if that's what they want but may be off putting for others.

Parking may be an issue based on the time but it seemed they have been working on this. Again the food here is good and could be very good place but certain things mentioned above may hold it back in the future.

Update went again after almost a year on a Sunday afternoon. The crowd wasn't bad but the bar was still packed. The whole place seemed better managed this time and there wasn't giant gaps in service. I don't know if more/better people were hired or a new manager there but service was consistent and food still good. Changing review to 4 stars because the flow of traffic around the bar is still awful. Have 1 spot for people to order from so they aren't reaching thru people...

This place is a gem! The counter staff, two sweet young ladies A&C were kind, helpful and active. Know before you go this is not ‘fast food’ - this is hand made cooked to order quality. The incredible handmade sausages are next level delicious. They are not sitting par cooked in hot water fast food sausages - quality takes time. We had the sweet Italian sausage, Farm burger and poutine. The Italian sausage was perfectly made (tasted just like the description on the menu) and the hamburger was cooked to my preference and very well seasoned, big and juicy.

We were full but still wanted to try the bratwurst (we have lived in Germany off and on). The brat was PERFECT!!!! We also tried the pickled fried okra - and man I had no idea how good it would be. It was the perfect combo of fried pickles and fried okra we were knocked out by how crisp and yummy they were with a light dusting of seasoning.

The weather was great and there were several groups on the huge patio and a few sweet pups with their people.

The selection of beer was good and cold. It was really nice that there is free valet parking - we went before the parking lot was full, but where it is located there is a ton of parking in the main shopping center lot if you don’t want to valet or need door drop off.

My family has made sausage for over 40+ years and know first hand what an art this is. The sausages are so good we plan on bringing a cooler next time to be able to take home several varieties.

Please please remember that if you want fast in and out call ahead. This place is 5 stars for what it was built to do - provide scrumptious food in a relaxed atmosphere where you can relax with your friends and enjoy time with them while eating yummy in house made cooked to order real food. A BEER GARDEN!!

Thank you for the great experience...

Solid concept but lacking in overall execution in terms of service and overall experience, as you have to run the gauntlet at the bar to get a drink order in just like you would if you were at a packed dance club on a Saturday night. Bartenders spending a lot of time chatting it up with regulars while many other customers stood around waiting to be acknowledged.

Nice outdoor area with picnic tables for seating, but this isn't optimal, especially in today's environment as most tables were half full with people sitting their belongings on the other unoccupied sections of the table, so we ended up sitting on the stairs as there were no open seats available. Also, but not much room to walk around as there lots of people standing and there were tons of kids running around yelling and screaming, so not the greatest vibe if you are looking for somewhere to hang out and have drinks with friends.

Also, would probably help to have staff come by to clean off tables, get trash off the grounds and just check in on folks to see how you are doing as we were there for over an hour and didn't have anyone do a pulse check which is always a nice touch for a business to do.

I will say that the manager was cool on our way out, as he tried to help out with the crazy valet parking situation they had going on, and I get that he has his hands full and I hope they are able to figure things out and make this concept work.

Definitely have some work to do as they try and figure out whether they want to be more of a cool brewery type place, a shout your drink order over the bar type place or a family fun center as you can't be all three at the same time and continue to thrive...
