Using the website- I created an order to have the carry out option for this location, applying my car description so that way when I pull in as usual I can put I am here so I can wait for the order to prepare and be brought out. Today’s purpose of ordering using the carry out option was due to me being on a time crunch. This is the exact reason why I love this order option, but today it took 3x longer than the drive thru option. I waited patiently for 12 mins and noticed no one was coming out. A little disappointed, I decided to go inside. I walked up to the pick up area noticing my order on the counter. The interaction with the staff member was very dismissive and not the customer service at chick fa la then I am used to. I politely asked for clarification purposes if the order under Lexus was for carry out that matched the description that was on the tag attached to the bag. The employee stated you have to come inside to get it. I pointed at the sticker showing in all caps “CARRY OUT” with my car description. The employee said “yeah-this is your order right?” I said yes. He said “okay, have a great day.” And walked away with no clarification whether or not the location participates in chick fa la carry out option that is advertised in the app. All I was looking for from the employee was clarification why it wasn’t carried out that way when I come back to this location in the future (which will never happen now) I wouldn’t wait in the parking lot I would just go pick it up myself or use the drive thru which takes away from the purpose of the carry out option and putting the car description on the app. If the carry out option is not available for a specific location then simply don’t offer it in the app. Or at the very least, hire employees that don’t mind clarifying and providing basic customer service. No napkins or straws in the bag, so I had to go back in for a second time delaying me even further. Overall I am very disappointed in todays visit. My Favorite Thing About It, Is That Although The Sandwich Or Chicken Is "Spicy", It Does Not Have That Hot Sauce Or Buffalo Taste Flavor That I Personally Dislike. So, If You're Like Me, And Not A Huge Fan Of Hot Sauce Or Buffalo Sauce, But Want A Bit Of Spice, Then I Seriously Recommend Trying Chick-fil-A's Spicy Chicken Sandwich Or Maybe Other Items. I Also Tried Experimenting Their Sauces And Found My Favorites To Be Their Original Chick-fil-A Sauce AndThe Polynesian Sauce!! This Mux Tastes Amazing With The Sandwich!! 😋 😋 Don't Knock It Till You Try It!! 💕 💕
Only Complaint Is That When Ordering The Meal, Combo, Dinner Thing That Brings The Spicy Chicken Sandwich, A Side, And A Drink, Is That It Doesn't Let You Customize The Order Or Tells You About Their Sizes. I Found Out That Their Mac And Cheese Is A Medium But Seems More Of A Small. I Can Get A Small Mac And Cheese At Wawa That Seems Like A Large. I Got The Cookies And Cream Milkshake, No Cherry As My Drink, And When I Received Everything, The Drink Was Also Very Small. I Wish We Could At Least Request For A Large, While Ordering Pick Up Or Ordering At The Drive Thru, For Just A Slight Price Change.
That's Another Thing. The First Thing On The Website Or App Is About The Lettuce Shortage. But You Literally Have To Pay Basically A Full Dollar For Lettuce, Another Dollar For Tomatoes, Another For Everything, And Another Price For Cheese. The Only Thing Free Are Pickles, And Some Condiments Like Mayo, Which You Have To Get Yourself At The Condiment Table.... Good Thing I Only Like Lettuce And Got A Sandwich Already With Cheese. I ordered wrong combination which I found after receiving my order. And I was asking the reason, cashier told me I ordered what I received, she repeated more than 5 times and never asked me for cancel or replacement. I didn't mean to order parfait, but she just processed to order parfait instead of hash brown which I didn't want that switches. When I got my order, I asked about the hash brown, and she said "you ordered parfait". Yes, I ordered parfait, but where is my hash brown, and she said it again 4 times more. When I ordered parfait, I didn't know it was replacement for hash brown even with extra charge of $1.86, I told her that I didn't mean to order parfait instead of hash brown, but she was so straight that I ordered whatever parfait. While she was telling me that, she leaned two arms on the pos screen and forwarded her upper body toward me. when she acted like that, I walked away to my table with parfait. SHE NEVER ASKED ME FOR REPLACEMENT OR CANCEL THE WRONG ORDER. It was bad morning to all day long. I also called 800 number to complain about this, but the Rep. was not nice either. I regretted that I called customer service number. And store manager called me couple days later, so I explained the story again. The manager said that she will send the coupons.
