This place is hands down one of the BEST banh mi places on the east coast. I travel often with my friends and family and am always searching for delicious Viet food, so when I make the claim that the banh mi here is as authentic as one can possibly get stateside, it’s serious.
Having grown up in Vietnam, the trick to any delicious banh mi is the quality of the bread. The baguette they use here is so fresh that the crunch of the crust paired and the aromatic softness of the fluffy inside of the bread just adds to the flavor in one’s mouth. Not to mention, most banh mi’s stateside have very little meat and an even smaller amount of pickled veggies. That’s for sure not the place here. I ate here with my family three times within the two weeks that we were visiting here in Ft. Meyers and the consistency of the banh mi is 100% spot on.
The staff is so friendly and considerate. The other food on the menu is delicious as well. While I enjoyed the special banh mi, my husband enjoy the special pho, bbq pork banh mi, and banh mi nem nuong.
The Vietnamese coffee, milk coffee, and artichoke tea are all delicious too. Their baked goods are also delicious. We definitely recommend the banh pate chaud. All in all, this restaurant is absolutely a gem in the rough. If you are looking for a delicious and authentic bite to eat, definitely come here. The taste of Vietnam is for sure celebrated here. We can’t wait to come back the next time...
Read moreTo my surprise, there is a new place in town that offers the amazing experience of a Korean Corn Dog. Usually I will drive hours to Orlando or somewhere similar to get this experience of taste, but not this time!!
My aunt found this place and told me about it and I am in a complete craze about it. They have not only Korean corn dogs (WITH ONLY CHEESE FOR VEGETARIANS) with various customizing options. They also have lovely fruit teas, hand held snacks, sandwiches, and pastries. Amazing. I also like that they have a designated toppings station for condiment choices. One corndog rounds up to 9$ as of date purchased.
On top of this, the atmosphere is very relaxing, classical music is my jam. There is also a fun arcade styled machine there to take your quarters (; They have super cute stuffies for purchase (they know their audience) and the energy of the space is in good feng shui.
I will come here any chance I get to indulge in the deliciousness of a Korean Corn Dog (My go to is the all cheese with potato) + Shrimp toast is also really great, but I don’t get it every time since I have my eyes on the...
Read moreThis classy hidden Gem was absolutely delicious. We wanted to try something new and drove by in the Shops @ Village Walk Plaza noticed the Eiffel Tower right in the center of the restaurant. I ordered the Grilled Pork Croissant , very flavorful with a kick of jalapeño in it, if you Dnt like Spivey request it without you will not regret it. Drink with it was A refreshing Green Passionfruit Tea that I would recommend ordering a Large because Sheesh I was not prepared for how addicting it was. As for the dessert I ended up picking A Princess Pineapple Coconut round little cake that was not over baring at all with Sugar. The coconut hint leveled out the Pineapple flavor perfectly and complimented one another like PB&J do.
I plan on coming back for some Pho & their Unique...
