I go here an average of at least once per week. This is not your typical dive bar. It's a nice, quiet bar with a lot of regulars that I get it along very well with. The bartenders are great, and once they get to know you, they'll have your drink ready for you before you get seated at the bar. They are currently in the process of remodeling and seriously upgrading the place. It's owned by legendary metal drummer, Stet Howland, and he's there quite often. Look him up. They have an actual stage and do live music and comedy on it. The concerts are not local garage bands or lounge bands. Every single act they do there includes a minimum of one musician from a major rock band that's had videos and probably won awards. You can sit and have a 20-minute conversation with someone, and when they walk away, someone may come up to you and ask, 'Do you know who you were just talking to?' and it turns out it's some major rockstar whose albums you bought and seen on TV. You actually get to rub shoulders with rockstars before and after their concerts. They do karaoke there every Thursday night, and it's the best karaoke in town. Sometimes these famous rock stars even join in on the fun. They also do comedy every Wednesday night and have at least one comedy show on a Saturday night per month. If you're looking for an enjoyable, neighborhood bar, where eventually, everyone will know your name, Stet's Bar just might be the...
Read moreStetâs Bar belongs to famous drummer Stet Howland. Stet has played with groups like W.A.S.P and Metal Church and more. His bar in Fort Myers Florida is an absolutely incredible place. This isnât the kind of place where you put on your finest designer clothes and go to show off. Stetâs is a place where you go to hang out with friendly people and listen to phenomenal music. Behind the bar is a music venue that has the look and feel of something like a one time garage but has a sound system that big venues would drool over. This is how great music should be experienced. Music in arenas or stadiums just doesnât have the feel that an intimate venue like Stetâs has. You will never find nicer people with whom to share music. The patrons and the people who work at Stetâs are just fantastic. Youâll also find great comedy and karaoke at Stetâs. Watching real rock stars drink and sing karaoke can be amusing at times. All in all I love this place and I know anyone who really appreciates music will too.

Read moreMy first time coming out and brought a couple out of town friends. Kind of had the feel of a frat party. Unique dive bar atmosphere. The band was good but VERY loud. We were Charged $15 cover and then couldn't even access all parts of the venue. It was $40 to go upstairs to the "VIP" where a gal serves beer out of an igloo cooler ... cash only. We were just up there a minute looking for our friends. there was no person at the bottom of the steps informing people that this was a restricted area .She explained that this area was an up charge. We were perfectly willing to comply and either go and pay the extra money or just go downstairs. However she had to rudely explain that if we were caught up there again without a wristband that she would have to have us forcibly removed. I found that to be a rather aggressive response considering it was clearly an innocent mistake and we have had no way of knowing this. Anyway we ended up leaving the venue after paying our $15 cover charge after...
