First impressions are everything, right? I really really enjoyed this place from the moment I walked in! I was greeted by the hostess but went to the bar. The bartender greeted me immediately and I could tell he was actually happy that I was there. He didn’t rush anything and he answered all my questions, even better than I would of expected. This experience was so great! The Edison mall has changed so much from the time that I started to going to it. I’ve seen this unit change into so many different places. Although, this experience was just perfect. What more could I of wanted? I was greeted when I walked in the door. Greeted immediately when I sat down. Happy hour was great, online says $7 appetizers but they were all under $6! Even better! Everyone was so attentive! Great prices I loved everything. I ordered the shrimp appetizer on happy hour. 6 shrimp for $4.50 Fried shrimp, I got ranch and and the ranch was thick and creamy and it was really really good! The fried shrimp was so hott which is great! And it felt apart in my mouth when I ate it. I’m so so lucky with my food when I eat it but this shrimp was just fine! The rails came off sooo easy! I met the manager, Ben, he was so so sweet and genuine! He made my time so great!! I will be back and I hope to bring as many people as I know here!!!

I tried the 1lb king crab which was fishy tasting and over cooked so the shells were like rubber and impossible to crack with the shell cracker provided. They served us only a plastic fork which was useless so you had to use your hands to tear apart the shells so that went back. I then tried the 1lb shrimp which was atleast deveined but rubbery from being previously frozen and not local shrimp. Being this business is in Fort Myers and Trico Seafood is local it makes no sense why they don't buy local fresh shrimp rather than buying low quality frozen products from over seas. Obviously profit is the only thing they focus in not quality. It seems their thing is smothering everything you order in a bath of sauce to drown out the taste of the less than fresh seafood or fish. The only thing that was good was the service Ryan gave us. My Granddaughter had the Mac and cheese which was crazy hot so I imagine it was frozen and stuck in the microwave. Terrible is all I have to say. Save your money and try some where else. Management didn't even offer to discount the bill which is very disappointing from a Management perspective.

So boom—life’s been life-ing, and after recently losing my job, I decided I deserved a little treat. And what better way to lift my spirits than a big, messy seafood boil? So, I hopped in my car and drove all the way to Fort Myers just to try The Twisted Crab. Let me tell you… BEST. DECISION. EVER. I ordered a 1lb Dungeness crab boil with ½lb of shrimp, plus two mango margaritas (because if we’re gonna treat ourselves, we’re gonna do it right!). I won’t lie—I was a little nervous since it’s inside Edison Mall (IYKYK), and I was scared I’d get some food court-quality seafood and sticky floors. But babyyyy, this food was FRESH, the restaurant was CLEAN. The crab? Juicy. The shrimp? Perfectly seasoned. The sauce? SO good, I was ready to drink it. And the price?? $77 for all that?!? A STEAL. I would’ve expected to pay way more for this kind of quality. On top of that, our server Sam was an absolute sweetheart—super attentive and just made the whole experience even better. Moral of the story: If you’re craving seafood in Fort Myers, The Twisted Crab is THAT spot. I’ll definitely be back

Wanted to take my mom out for seafood for her birthday. Did a Goggle search and this location came up. Decided to check it out since we had never been. Although the food was decent, the lack of professionalism left a lot to be desired. The first incident came with my daughter's food. One of her tenders was under cooked, she kept chewing it and spitting it out upon inspection it was pink and rubbery. We brought it to the waitress's attention (who was really sweet at the beginning), she advised she would get the manager (who never came). When my husband finally got the wings he ordered, he ate one and realized he only recieved 9 wings instead of the 10 advertised. This was the second incident we again had to call the waitress to the table for, we explained we were missing a wing, before we had a chance to properly explain, she rudely walked away and said she would get the manager. We could tell she was visibly upset but in no way were we blaming her. The manager finally came out for this incident, and she started off with "when did you notice the wing was missing", as if we had hidden the additional wing on us. Then further said she already took the kids meal off and now this. We explained the tender was pink and rubbery and even attempted to show her and she brushed it off with "we already took it off", as if to say why were we bringing it up again. So we proceeded to explain the situation with the wings and that we did not want it written off, just to talk to the staff to do better. She explained her staff had never made these mistakes before so it was weird that it was happening now, as if we were lying. Again we tried to explain it was probably a mistake and we were not asking for it to be taken off. She abruptly walked away and told us, we would get a discount on our bill. That was never what we were seeking, we were just asking for more diligence. But we were made to feel like we were liars, looking for a free meal. We will...
