Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Fort Myers

This place must be doing BADLY BAD in business because it seems this is the only tropical smoothie that forces you and goes out of their way to nickel and dime you for every little add-on.

For example the other professional, way better tropical smoothie, like the one on boy scout in ft Myers and the SUPER PROFESSIONAL TROPICAL SMOOTHIE on Santa Barbara in the Cape ... They don't charge you $2-3 for a half a teaspoon of ginger pieces that's not even ORGANIC!!!! If you substitute an ingredient for something else that should be it .... Not get charged for switching ingredients... That's pathetic... That's nickel and diming us for things already paid for in the price of the smoothie.... All I'm doing is switching ingredients NOT ADDING .... if I'm adding ingredients then ok ... I'll pay extra for extra ingredients... But I'm just substituting the strawberry for blueberries and the OJ (that's not fresh squeezed ) for ginger ( that's not organic) and only a half a teaspoon full if that's what I get at times ..

That shouldn't make a $6-7 smoothie become $10 .... RIDICULOUS... AND ITS ALWAYS A BUNCH OF LITTLE SPANISH NON ENGLISH SPEAKING IMMATURE KIDS WORKING THERE LIKE THE MANAGER DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DIVERSIFY??????? WHAT'S UP WITH THAT MANAGEMENT????

I'm guessing the manager there is a Spanish male because there's always little Spanish girls working there... I hope he isn't promising...

-000000000 Customer service is horrible. Delivery driver could not find building at all. Even tho it was less than 5 minutes away. I spoke with one employee who refuse to give name when asked about it due to her telling me information about my refund, which she gave me either a fake name or her supposed supervisors name, and told her that I was " telling her to give me my money". Then she asked her supposed supervisor which she transferred me to Marleen then Jayleen who was supposed the office lead because Marleen stepped out of the store after she used the bathroom to take her dad somewhere, Jayleen just like the front employee did not want too give me her name at all and probably lied. Which not given proper information of what happened of why my food was not delivered especially since I ordered it through their website. She then proceed to say the district manager Jose will be there around 2 pm or sooner unknown. When asked for HR number she did not know that information at all she said that they changed the passcode so they did not have that information. After I received my order I left the store on foot back to my car which was charging on the other side of the parking lot then realized they didn't put put my chips in the bag so I walked back to get them. Then I got back to my car and started to eat my Hummus veggie bowl and realized they didn't put Hummus or Avocado on it so I walked back. It took about ten minutes for 3 of them to put some Hummus and Avocado in small cups and while they were in the process one employee dropped a lid on the floor and proceeded to put it on the cup of Avocado and one of them knew I was watching so she took it from him and threw it away. He would have tried to pass it to me since he didn't know I was looking. Then another young lady approached me at the counter and asked if I wanted anything else and I said I would like a hurricane smoothie to go so she walked away and told another employee to make it. I sat down in the store and ate my Hummus veggie bowl and watched the guy make the hurricane smoothie.
