Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Fort Payne

We came to this location two days ago and had to do drive thru due to heading to the river and we had our pup with us. We give our order, then we pull up to get our order and the sweet girl working the window hears our pup and offers us a chicken tender for our fur baby! How SWEET! Our food order then was given out the window and I remind my husband I forgot to say what sauce I wanted and the lady asked what it was in which I told her and got my money ready to pay for sauces, because we all know how those sauces cost gold sometimes and to our shock she smiles and says no its fine. Try the handmade peach tea! It is phenomenal! The chicken is always great. I've had nothing but truly honest great customer service. Employees are always very polite, and smile. I've only had one issue in the many times I've been to this restaurant. Yesterday I ordered slaw instead of fries like usual. I used the mobile app, picked up through drive thru. When I got home, unfortunately the slaw was not in a container, but just put in the tray. It had gotten juices all over my chicken, toast and bag, and I had to toss the slaw and toast as it had became a mess. I salvaged my chicken strips, but they were soggy as well, and very small. Good food. Good, fast service, just not up to the standard that I have personally set for chicken when I eat out. Being fair, I have never eaten at a Zaxby's. I feel like the amount for food for the money ($7 for three tenders, a piece of toast and fries) was on par with most restaurants but I expected more for the hype that I have heard. The food is on level with a good Jack's restaurant but not as good as Chick-fil-A. I will say that the toast was easily the best part of the meal and I absolutely loved it!
