SINCE January I have tried to email about a problem with a call in order, mainly I paid 29.99 for the family size turnip greens and when I got home I had less than a can of turnip greens. I called in the order, then waited at the restaurant for almost 2 hours, God love Madison Jones (cashier) you could tell she wanted to just disappear amidst all the complaints. I was so livid by the time I got home way for dinner, keeping everyone waiting, late plus the manager was so damn rude I was NOT calling the store. I got replies from the site online but they have never come thru with anything they said they were going to do. Seriously disappointed and will never go back, plus I don't like the employees sharking me while I'm shopping - I feel so uncomfortable there period. Like below where it asks "How much did you spend per person?" If we don't pay enough we get no reply? SEEMS THAT WAY!

The Fort Payne Cracker Barrel is a spacious restaurant. There weren't many people there yet the morning I had the Country Breakfast of two fried eggs, sausage patties, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy. My server was very prompt, friendly and courteous. The food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Cracker Barrel single servings of gravy seems to have increased, which is great! The eggs were cooked as ordered. I like being able to pay at the table electronically, instead of standing in line at the cash register. I shopped around afterwards in the gift shop, which had lots of interesting merchandise. This Cracker Barrel is in the upper third of Cracker Barrels I've visited lately. Good service, good food, clean restaurant! My breakfast cost less than $10, which is rare these days! I was confused because I think that the menu indicated a higher price.

This is our little girls favorite restaurant. She knows what she wants and gets the same thing EVERY time, Macaroni n cheese with green beans and a lemonade. The servers are joyful and loving to her even when she's not sitting at their table. 🄳 Service is fast and friendly. Staff quickly make changes for our seating to accommodate our child's wheel chair. This is important to me because it's no fun to go out when everyone is staring at you while the staff figures out where to put you.

Cracker Barrel, as a whole, must be going downhill. We went to this one on our vacation. It wasn't that crowded, and they seemed to have plenty of staff. Our waitress came by and said she would be back in a minute to get our drink order. I checked my phone and it wasn't until 20 minutes later she came back. We gave her our complete order since we had long since decided what we wanted and left and came back with our drinks. Our order came about 5 minutes later. I guess she rushed the order through since we had already been here long enough. We'll I ordered two eggs over easy, and they came between medium and hard and were just barely warm. There wasn't enough soft yoke to put in a teaspoon. My bacon was so well done, it was almost burnt. My wife commented that they looked burnt to her. It came with home fries that were less than warm. It also came with two biscuits and a cup of gravey that looked like it had been sitting on the counter too long and tasted like paste with the same consistency. It would not pour out of the cup. I had to use a spoon, and even then, it would not run off the spoon unless I shook it. My wife ordered two pancakes, and what can you do to mess up a pancake order except bring three instead of two? But the waitress made sure to mention we weren't being charged for the extra pancake. I believe we got our order so quickly because it belonged to someone else. There was a couple sitting at the next table who were there when we were seated and and it was obvious that they were not pleased that we were served first. The male said something to whom I believe was a manager, and she talked with them and left the table and I saw her talking to their waitress and pointed to their table. We have the same problem with our local Cracker Barrel, which is why we no...

This was absolutely the worst experience my family and I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel - my mom and I were in town visiting family, they wanted us to have breakfast together before we left that morning heading home to Florida, first the server took our drink order, but it took her forever to get our drinks to us, by the time we got our drinks I noticed the drinks were watered down, I ordered coffee, but it was cold and the server didn’t keep it refilled, so I asked to swap the coffee for a coke, she brought me a coke, took our order, but we were there over an hour waiting for food, we noticed other tables that were sat long after us had their food and we still hadn’t had ours, eventually another server brought a star drinks, and said our server was getting our food, but our server never showed up with our food and then a manager comes running out to our table and says he appreciates our patience and our food is on the way, again the other tables around us are still receiving their food and we still haven’t got ours, so our food is finally on its way to our table, and one of the food runners drops a tray of our food, I was in disbelief, and by this point, I was ready to get up and leave, we finally got our food, some of it was cold, some of it wasn’t even ordered correctly, and some of it was undercooked. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and on the way back I found a different manager and explained to her what was going on, but her attitude was acting like I was just complaining, and that we didn’t have any real issues, so they took two plates off of the receipt, but still made us pay for the drinks. I have eaten at several Cracker Barrelā€˜s throughout the years and this is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had and I will never go back to this...

Today is Father's Day and decided to dine in and share the experience with future customers on how southern hospitality is. The wait time for a table was not long at all. There were some items on the menu that was not available. Understandable. We adjusted out palate to what is available, no problem. We placed our order and asked our waiter, "Do you have pepper sauce?" Our waiter was attentive and noted my request. We patiently waited for about 1 hour+ before our dinner order was served. I requested ketchup and "pepper sauce", please. It was not the same waiter that waited on us. The waitress returned with the condiments and "slammed" them on our table, barely missing my knuckle holding the silverware. We requested to speak to the manager and waited for at least 10 minutes+. I was so upset and loss my appetite to even touch my food. Every serving from the main entree to the sides were not the usual serving, about half of the little bowls. The people that works in this service industry seems to forget the word "service". It is my recommendation to retrain their staff and not be an embarrassment to other Cracker...
