⭐️ 1 out of 5 “Absolutely do not recommend — dirty, unsafe, and nothing like the photos”
This Days Inn was a huge disappointment — not at all what I expected based on the listing or my experience with other Days Inns. First, this is not a true standalone hotel — it shares a parking lot and appears to be an extension of the EconoLodge next door, with exterior room access like a motel. That alone was a red flag.
When we pulled up late at night, the front of the building wasn’t lit, and the parking lot was very dark, which didn’t feel safe. Once inside the room, things went from bad to worse: • Broken ice machine • Old, yellowed plumbing fixtures with visibly cracked porcelain or veneers • Dead baby roach under the sink • Fly on the bed • Visible dirt and debris behind the beds where it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages — that area is nearly impossible to reach due to the awkward bed base design • The entire room felt so dingy and poorly maintained that I didn’t feel comfortable letting my family sleep there. It felt like a bedbug risk.
As if that weren’t enough, police arrived in the parking lot shortly after we checked in — lights flashing, drug bust in progress. Not exactly the kind of atmosphere you’re looking for on a family road trip.
To the front desk clerk’s credit, she was courteous and honest. She showed us another room, which was just as bad. She even admitted she wouldn’t stay there with her own kids and recommended the Hampton or Avid hotel up the road. That says everything you need to know.
We ended up taking her advice and rebooked up the road.
Bottom line: This place should not be listed at its current star level, and definitely not at the price we paid. It was not safe, not clean, and not up to the standard anyone should expect from a Days Inn or a...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE. The power went out in our room within an hour of us entering the room due to water leaks and flooding in neighboring rooms. After waiting a while in the dark to see if we would get switched to another room, we eventually left to go to another hotel. Several other rooms were apparently having the same issue. The room itself was DISGUSTING. You could tell they hadn't even vacuumed in a very long time due to how many bugs of all kinds were littering the floor (roaches, some dead some alive, beetles, wasps, etc.) There were blood stains on the bed sheets on one of the beds. There was mold in the bathroom. When we left we requested a refund as we didn't even have power in the room, but neither the manager or the owner were available for multiple hours so we couldn't get a decision made and were told to come back the next day. We got another hotel and we only got a 50 percent refund the next day, and the worker wouldn't even look us in the eye and instead was just typing away on her computer. They said they normally don't even give refunds at all so if you have any other insane problems aside from the power going out don't expect any help. The reasoning they gave us as to why we couldn't get a full refund was because we "walked into the room." How were we supposed to know what was wrong with the room unless we entered it? I genuinely don't understand how this place is still in business when there are multiple other hotels close by with much better quality. The photos on Google are misleading and the rooms do not look that good. Worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure...
Read moreThe bathroom door is a tight squeeze around the toilet so it's a pain to close. My fiance and I decided it wasn't worth the effort in the small bathroom so we left it open. The seemingly strategic placement of the full length mirror (I appreciate that they have one) led us to a whole new level in our relationship. We found that one could be sitting on the toilet, the other laying in bed, and if we look in the mirror we can have a face to face conversation. What a unique experience! I had the patience of a saint during check in. It took 30 minutes and there was no one else around. Literally we may have been the only guests. The front desk employee had to call someone else for help. I get that people need to learn but now I am seeing an extra charge on my card. We will see how that plays out. The hotel was very dark overall and made me a little leery with my nighttime arrival. The area did have multiple restaurants nearby which was convenient. It was nice to have a mini fridge. We had ample towels. There was beautiful artwork on the wall of the room. . Cleanliness was mid. There was a washed stain on the top cover but I did feel comfortable enough to walk around without my shoes on. The bed was hard so I guess it depends what you prefer. Overall I would stay again. However we try to travel cheap so we don't have high...
