We were displaced for 4 days by our HOA so we stayed in a local hotel, when we asked the front desk manager where the best place to eat was she said without skipping a beat, Taco Dive!!! Well, dive is right.....they do have an amazing guava cider on tap that is to die for. But we were told their cajun shrimp were incredible so my fiancé got a chicken bowl, I got a shrimp one and when I asked if the cajun was spicy they were wishy-washy which is understandable. I was told I could have no spice, light or regular. I asked for extremely light and I asked for most ingredients on the side because I am a very picky eater due to multiple bowel obstructions. The food was fast and friendly and didn't break the bank. Well, mine was so spicy I had to try to cover it with rice and tomato, they should serve sour cream instead the dressing makes it spicier! Oh and the best part? a HUGE amount of beans directly center of the bowl. I cant't/don't/won't eat beans, period. I ALWAYS make sure my food is bean-less, well they declined to mention it was in the bowl so I basically had to pick half of my food out and work around chewy, overcooked, over seasoned, shrimp, mushy rice and tomatoes. My fiancé just thought the quality wasn't up to par, even for inexpensive food. We will NOT return nor will we ever recommend them, unless it's strictly for chips and...
Read moreLast night was my birthday, had an amazing time boating with my family and the captain highly recommended this restaurant business for dinner. When we got to Taco Dive nobody greeted us, nobody sat me or my family down at a table...very unwelcoming. We went inside to look for a host or waiter and couldnât find nobody available to help get us settled, not even a menu was offered. We do acknowledge it was a busy night, but we were customers nonetheless, then a woman didnât even greet us a d told us âsit anywhereâ. We sat at the bar since there were no tables, there was another party of three that came behind us and sat right next to us and they got served first, yet I have been trying to call the attention of the gentleman behind the bar for quite sometime since I already knew what I wanted to order, he knew we were there first because we exchanged several glances and he told us to wait...very unacceptable! My family and I left because of the poor customer service, we can not review the food because we didnât make it that far. Very horrible first time experience, and as an active member of the community I will be sure to let friends and family know what took place last night and let them be the judge as to whether they want to endure the same...

FOOD
-Pros- Food was fantastic. The meat was seasoned and cooked well. The ingredients were fresh and everything was well made. They have a broad and creative variety of choices on their menu. Most of everything was reasonably priced. Our steak and shrimp tacos were delicious along with our cheesy tots.
-Cons- The tacos were a bit pricey for the amount you get, though they definitely make up for it in quality. We did find that the pork taco was a tad sweet. Could have used some spiciness. Still good though!
SERVICE
-Pros- The service is everything you'd ever hope for in a restaurant visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and timely. Their staff obviously work hard and take their customer service seriously.
-Cons- I have no complaints regarding their service!
RESTAURANT
-Pros- The restaurant had the rustic dive style, but without the filth and grime. It was clean and well maintained. They have outdoor seating which just ups the experience. The ambiance is pretty chill. The restaurant is well located.
-Cons-
Definitely no negatives!
EXPERIENCE
Our experience overall was excellent! I would definitely make it a point...
