As a customer, you deserve the right to be treated with respect. When you are coming to pick up a UPS package to expect to have someone help you in a considerable amount of time because you are a paying customer. I was there last week to pick up two packages that were supposed to be delivered. There are Amazon hub boxes for deliveries on the wall right next to a black cabinet that is unlocked that says UPS deliveries it does not say.DO NOT ENTER or is not locked so if youâre looking for a package, you will not know that thatâs other peopleâs unless specified by someone else but nothing is labeled. After waiting 15 minutes on somebody I walked over right next to the delivery hub and assumed this is where you pick up packages and was yelled at by a gentleman named Mike, which claimed to be the manager of the store first of all, I like to know where Mike was while I was standing at the counter for 15 minutes and then why I nonchalantly look for my package I get yelled at across the store in a tone like heâs working in some kind of a bar or a nightclub, and it was purely disrespectful as a manager used to be able to delegate tasks to other people to enable yourself to assist other customers to ensure qualities service. I do not know this manâs background or prior work history, but I can tell you that was completely uncalled for. Then afterwards Mike tries to argue with me (bad move) and telling me that I shouldnât be in the cabinet well, first off when you disrespect me in a tone and that manner, Iâm gonna come and tell you exactly how I feel as well. This man decided it was in his best interest to collect buggies and carts because he has actual no managerial skills whatsoever. I was completely disrespected and for me no matter what you can walk up to me and speak politely asking me what I need rather than yelling across the store.â Hey what are you doing, get out of thereâ itâs not a polite way to talk to a customer. I had no intention whatsoever other than trying to find two packages worth over $600. He thinks I have the problem. Then lied when itâs all on camera that I started the situation. This man has NO business being labeled as a manager. Managers are to manage the other employees and customers not to boss customers around and delegate what you wanna do on any given time in any of a moment and thatâs where the workforce is today I can guarantee you this man has no idea what heâs doing it pretty much well showed. If this was a manager under me, I would take attention very quickly on why he thinks itâs effective to tell other customers so this is my complaint against the guy that believes he is allowed to work and represent a company in such a bad manner. Hence, why the store is probably not running to itâs at most potential. I can see why and please reprimand this â managerâ or at least ask him about the situation and watch the video and youâll see exactly why Iâm making this negative review. He definitely needs quite a bit of training managers like him sitting in a room all day, eating potato chips and at the end of the day to decide to put up buggies yeah this is where the workforce is...
Read moreFrom less than a mile away, I called this Staples store today. A female voice answered but didn't say her name. I asked her if they had USB-C cables. She said she didn't know but was going to check. After 5 minutes on hold, I decided to drive to Best Buy which is about 30 minutes away. So, one hour round trip. I drove to Best Buy, got the cable and attachment I needed, and drove back. The entire time, I didn't hang up the phone. Wanted to see how long it would take them. I decided to go back to the store and let the manager know. At the front desk was a young lady with the same voice that answered my call. Well, she was on her cell phone and my call on the phone right in front of her. I asked her to get the manager. When the manager came out, he seemed upset and bothered that I had asked to see the manager. I explained to him and attempted to give him my phone to listen with the Staples music still playing after an hour. He was not interested. After me trying to convince him that the music was still playing and he should hear it, he decided to look at the phone on the desk. He then pressed one of the keys on the phone and the message changed to "We're having technical difficulties". He then tried to figure out who answered the call from an hour ago....lol When I told him I decided to drive back to the store and show the manager the customer service I received, he seemed nonchalant about it. I then said, I figured I preferred to inform the manager instead of writing a review. His answer was "You can write whatever you want" in a condescending way. So, here I am - enjoying myself writing this review I wouldn't have written if the reaction would have been different. As someone who has been a customer of Staples for many years - today was my last day. Worst experience ever. If this Staples branch is not to par with other stores, senior management should consider the change...
Read moreSo I ordered a poster online on a Tuesday which was supposed to be printed by 8PM that night. Went in to pick it up on Thursday and was told that someone was supposed to call me to explain that the printer was down so they were unable to print it, but that it would be fixed by Monday and it would be finished Monday night latest. I went in again on Tuesday, and once again, was told that the printer was down so they were unable to print it. The woman behind the counter said that she would send the file to their âproduction centerâ, have it printed immediately, and then have it shipped back, arriving no later than Friday evening. Great. Fine. Told them to call me when it arrived so I didnât have to waste another trip. Saturday rolls around, still no phone call, so I called them. After some minutes on the phone waiting to see if they could find my poster, they claimed that they were unable to find it, but that theyâd print it immediately and I could come get it in a few hours. I told them to PLEASE call me when itâs actually finished, so that I donât have to waste my time driving 20 mins to pick it up. They said they would. They did not. This morning I called again to check the status, the woman said she doesnât have time to check for it right now, but if itâs not complete, sheâll print it and have it done within a few hours. I said thatâs fine, I just need confirmation that itâs ACTUALLY finished before I go get it. She said she would call me back. She did not. Iâm so done at this point. This should have been such a simple and easy job. Communication is not that difficult, thatâs all they needed to do to keep me at least mildly satisfied. Never coming back here for my...
