Let’s start off with the Good, the cashiers are very nice and helpful!! Loved all the options and found specialty items that we couldn’t find in other stores for baking and cooking. Great variety’s all different types of fruits and vegetables Orange cauliflower! Never seen that before. I brought each of my kids there on different occasions and they all had a nice time looking around. They have stuff you can get at stores like Walmart and Publix but more of a variety of different versions, for instance goat milk soap instead of 1 type they might have 3. All my kids loved the barrels of candy, nuts ect. That was very fun exploring all the options.
Now for the bad, the Sushi. I mean my family loves sushi and I understand they offer what they offer such as cream cheese with imitation crab meat only and not salmon, but I asked if they could put the crunchy topping and sauce on top of the one the guy was making at that time and he said no It would cost extra I said ok I understand. Then he proceeded to ask how much do they charge at Publix!! So I said I don’t know because i usually go on Wednesday and it’s $5. I said it didn’t matter how much extra I just wanted to know if he could do it for me. He said hold on and went to roll some rice at the counter off to the side and he came back and said to put the crunchy onions and sauce it would be $8.99 the sushi plain was $5.99 on sale. My oldest daughter wanted to leave at this point so we just left and I do not plan on going back to that department. I actually went back already and walked right past him on a Wednesday and went to Publix afterwards where they made it for me with the crunchy topping and sauce for no extra charge or issues.
Overall I did enjoy going to Sprouts in St Lucie West and plan on returning obviously just feel like the Sushi department makes their own rules on...
Read moreI cannot raise enough about our local Sprouts. Hands down it’s always been the best customer service I’ve ever received in any store. They always go above and beyond to help. They’ve offered many generous Discounts. Today, I was on a quest to find a salty, gluten-free, dairy free snack. A manager in the aisle asked me if I needed assistance, and I explained to him that it has not been easy to find enough options when you’re on a restricted diet. He had pointed out a few different suggestions and then offered to open a bag so that I could try it. I felt tears well up because that’s not anything I ever would’ve expected, nor have ever been offered. He was so kind and spoke to me like a friend. He offered to try it first as I was a bit apprehensive and shared his opinion about it. He continue to help me until I found something that works for me.
I’ve also found the sushi selection in our area lacking. Most of the quick sushi counters at the grocers are not accommodating to make sushi to order. I was happy to find an option today that did not have the spicy sauce, the imitation crab or cream cheese, not to mention, the size of the sushi in each roll is generous.I thanked the sushi chef and he said anytime I come back he would be happy to make me whatever I need to order.
It’s this kind of customer service that can make a rough day smoother, difficulties, easier, and days brighter. Thank you Sprouts for being the best...
Read moreDisappointing every time I go there. I was delighted to see all the prepared foods. As a single person, that is ideal for me & missed most of all from the stores up north. That was the biggest disappointment. As many of the things I’ve tried, the taste is awful to say the most. I’ve thrown out plain green beans. How bad can you make green beans taste? They accomplished it. They shared that they do not make a lot of the dishes they sell, that appear that be made by them, Sprouts. They at least need to taste what they’re selling. Often the produce was aged & sparse. I find myself drinking a lot of water after eating their cold cuts like the store baked turkey breast. That’s not processed, but they must use a lot of salt. Eating the creamy tomato basil soup right now, which inspired me to write. If you can get past the pepper, it tastes pretty good. Adding pasta helped too. My lips are on fire though. I can’t think of a reason to go back at this point, except for the meat. So far that...
