KING'S DELI — Restaurant in Fort Valley

BUGS BUGS BUGS I would give NO STARS IF I COULD still leave a review. Im from Augusta Ga and A friend of mine that go to Fort valley collage took me along to find housing for school August 20th. Meanwhile the whole way she has been talking about this king deli we must go 2 so we stop in and get 2 chicken finger plates. I posted the picture of my food zoomed in with a bug on the paper of the food. I had not even touched the food, I did not even leave and come back, or took a bite, I had not even tried the french fries... USUALLY WE AT LEAST TASTE THE FRIES. However The lady in kitchen gets real upset with me when I asked for a refund. I had to call police for them 2 tell me that this was not the 1st call to that establishment for a bug inside of their plate. I mean really if KING DELI HAS BUGS, THEN THEY SHOULD SAY SO AND GIVE PEOPLE OPTIONS ON RATHER THEY WANT BUG FOOD OR NOT cause I do see they have some good reviews.. WHEN I APPROCHED THE COUNTER I WASNT RUDE OR LOUD OR NASTY to alarm the otther customers. I LET HER SEE THE BUG ON THE PAPER AND SHE YELLS THAT IS SEASONINGS. I NEVER SEEN SEASONINGS WITH LEGS. I POSTED A PICTURE. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE LOOK AND TELL ME WHAT U SEE? END RESULTS I LOST $17 no food and now I have 2 make time to go to court about 17 bucks. King's Deli is definitely our new fav restaurant. I read all reviews and thank ppl for taking time to post their experience. The lower rated ones seems to be from many years ago and some were more comical than anything lol. I can't say anything about anyone else's experience except mines.The 1st time I went, the owner took my order and was very pleasant. A week later a black guy was at the register taking orders and was really nice. The food was cooked to order and was hot & fresh. My family loved it. This is definitely a spot we'll eat from at least monthly because we don't live in the area. My mom put us onto this restaurant. It's been there for years and I've never stopped, until my mom was with me and wanted their shrimp & whole wings plate. I see now while this little area is so packed lol!...

Definitely wish I could give no stars. I went 02.13.19 and the food was AWFUL. My 4 year old nephew and my 18 month old son (who loves chicken and fries) wouldn’t even eat anymore of it. Since my mom and I also thought it tasted spoiled we decided to take the food back up there for a refund. We politely stated the food didn’t taste right and asked for a refund. She refused so my mom said she needs her money back. The older lady (im assuming the owner) proceeds to say that she doesn’t give a s* and to leave her store which resulted in us going back and forth. All of that could’ve been avoided had she given us a refund for food that tasted like day old that wasn’t sold so it was frozen, thawed out, then fried again. VERY unprofessional and rude. We’re done...
