Shark's Fish & Chicken Chicago Style — Restaurant in Fort Valley

I ordered a 2 piece catfish filet. The cashier asked was it fried hard enough, I said can you ask him to fry it a little harder for me. The cook dropped the fish in the grease and walked away. 7 minutes passed and I asked where is the cook because the fish should be ready. I received my plate and parts of the fish were burnt (due to overcooking). Hush puppies were EXTREMELY HARD. I expressed if the cook didnt want to cook food right, he shouldnt play over customers foods. The cashier and cook told me to come back or they could fix another order now and I said today was not good because I did not have time. Very Very Very Disappointed My family loved this place but after tonight September 26,2025 we will no longer spend our money here after witnessing the cook drop food on the floor and looking around to see if anyone is paying attention he threw the oysters back in the box but what was sad was watching him do it and putting my trust in him to cook our food so so so disappointed and he didn't even change the gloves he was cooking with to prepare meals for other customers and I just wonder can they pull the cameras this is ridiculous knowing (He) doesn't have any respect for customers he know he was wrong for touching that floor with them gloves without changing them just nasty...

Stopped in for a late supper. I found the staff very cordial and willing to take my order even though were going to close within about 30 mins. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was freshly cooked and assembled. It was delicious and nearly as big as my head! My sandwich came with fries. They were freshly cooked and delicious, as well. I also ordered some onion rings. I was surprised to see the cook cutting up an onion for them rather than reaching into a bag of frozen. The onion rings were awesome!
