1st off the food was very good that's the reason why I decided to choose this place. I was very excited for this and picked it over other eating places since it was a Hawaiian theme eating place, and I have been to Hawaii before for vacation so this was perfect for me.
Now the reason for the bad review is that I am not local here and I thought maybe wait time was about 15 minutes. I did make eye contact several times with the cashier Emily to make sure she got the hint that I was still standing in the store and hadn't received my order. I feel at this point she should have noticed I'm waiting there longer then usual. It wasn't until 27 minutes I had waited and a customer came in and got their food under 4 minutes, and that's when I realized that maybe they had an issue with my order. I went to asked about how long I waited and they said they had given my meal to a different customer, and now I'm very disappointed waiting there with my 2 toddlers. All I got was a quick sorry and before I can say anything the person who handed me the food had already walked away.

I waited 15 minutes as instructed by Abby the cashier who took my order over the phone, and I am a First time customer and have been wanting to try this place for some time now . Anyway, I show up (414pm) and the cashier is friendly, it’s not busy at all. I check in, pay for my food and wait . I see 4 customers who came in AFTER me, pick up the orders they just placed at the counter and leave. I get back in line and attempt to ask the person handing out the orders to check my order because at this point I’d been there for over 20 minutes . As I’m speaking, she walks away, reaches under the cashiers counter where the cashier was hanging out & talking, and blurts out my name on the order for confirmation. I ask if the drinks are in the bag, and then I’m double checked as if I’m lying and there’s no apology for being overlooked several times. I also want to point out I live 5 minutes away, and the food was cold as soon as the food got in the car, and sloppily tossed into the container like someone shook the box around. This entire ordeal took nearly an hour, I arrived home at 445pm. I immediately called the restaurant and asked for a manger and was told there wasn’t one today. Read moreBETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AT MCDONALD'S. I go to Maui bus stop daily, I am dishearted by their lack of customer service and loyalty. My partner and I live down the street and used to eat here daily but won't be anymore. Today we ordered our food to go, he ordered 3 meats, with 3 sides of rice and an additional side- he chose macaroni salad. The employees at maui decided to put all three sides & meats & macaroni salad in the same Togo container. When I get home, my partner discovers he's got macaroni salad in-between his meats and rice. So I call maui and ask the lady on the phone if she could make it again and put the macaroni salad in a separate container- she tells me that is how it comes. Which is not true, we've ordered this before and the COLD MACARONI SALAD was not in the same container. I wasn't asking for a refund. I was asking for my food fixed. This is pathetic. If you don't want another bad review or experience or "miscommunication" like this, PUT A SIGN UP THAT SAYS ALL SIDES WILL BE PUT IN THE SAME CONTAINER.
