2.1.2024 Updating this one. Had a chance to come back to Baker Street for a work event and so I had a chance to taste a lot of the appetizers. My favorite one was the bbq bacon wrapped shrimp. This shrimp in this appetizer is huge and the bacon and barbecue sauce really set this one apart. The little fried patty that they came on with jalapeno salsa really made this appetizer amazing. The calamari appetizer and the guda dip appetizer were both very good as well. The peanut butter cup dessert really didn't seem to be worth it to me. It was very dry and there didn't seem to be the good flavor that I was expecting there to be for this dessert. I'm not sure if I just didn't order it properly with whatever ice cream or other thing that it was supposed to come with but it just didn't seem to be great at all. I got the seabass entree and I thought it was very good and melted in my mouth. I do have to say that the bacon and onion risotto that was underneath the seabass was amazing. The seabass was expensive but I would probably pay half of that just for the risotto by itself. Visited Baker Street and I have to say we really didn't enjoy it. We had a gift card so we thought we'd give it another try. For the price at this place I just don't think you get the quality food that you would think to get. We grabbed a couple Burgers that were $20 each and of course we couldn't resist the Gouda dip again!! All of these items are $20 and the only one that comes close to being worth it is the crab Gouda dip and the pita bread that comes with it. Lots of bread very little dip but it is really good. Don't bother with the mozzarella burger. It wasn't all that good and certainly is not worth the price. The breakfast burger is getting better but still...20?? They have great gluten free pita bread that went well with both.

We're down two stars in the past two years that I last visited for a Mother's Day dinner with my parents. My boyfriend and I started off with a BBQ shrimp appetizer - bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp over some coleslaw, atop a fried green tomato. Three jumbo shrimp on three lightly breaded fried green tomato slices. The shrimp and BBQ sauce were good, but the coleslaw and fried green tomato needed some more flavor for sure. 5/10 I ordered the Steakhouse Salad and the french onion soup- The french onion soup was delicious as expected from the last time I had it. The steak I'd ordered to be rare came out well, I honestly don't know what color it came out, given that it was so dark inside I had to use my phone's flashlight to peek at it. It just wasn't the rare I'd ordered it to be. The three pieces of roasted potato were not as exciting as my expectations for them. They were just...bland roasted potatoes with minimal, if any, seasoning. 9/10 for the soup, 6/10 for the salad My boyfriend had the lobster bisque and new zealand lamb shank. The bisque was good, but not memorable. The lamb shank was atop some salty duchess potatoes. He wasn't a fan of the breading on the lamb, and I didn't feel like it added a lot to the meat as a whole. The lamb was okay according to how he ordered it, though, medium rare. The Dijon mustard cream sauce swished around it was decent, as well. 7/10 for the soup, 5.5/10 on the lamb. The service was not as nice as what I'd experienced in the past, as it's always been busy when I've gone. We both agreed that it might be a long time before we come back to this place, and I feel like I should've listened to my gut feeling about going somewhere else after hearing a friend's experience there.

I made reservations for a surprise birthday party in a private room at Baker Street Steakhouse. Through an unfortunate series of mistakes and miscommunications my reservation was cancelled. I was contacted by the owner of Baker Street Steakhouse, James who personally took time to speak with me. Not only did he speak with me, he heard me. I was not rushed and I feel he genuinely cared. I was treated as a person and not just another lost sales opportunity. He went above and beyond to fix all of the wrongs and then some. James arranged for my mothers party to be held at another one of his restaurants, Proximo. He personalized the menu which even said Happy Birthday Karen, he even gave complimentary chocolates and gift cards, and treated the entire party like his own family. Everyone left the restaurant with an amazing experience. The service was phenomenal. No one's glass was ever less than half full, the food was superb, quick, and friendly service was experienced all night. From this experience I have learned that when Baker Street says they want you to be treated like family, they truly mean it! This has opened my eyes and gives me hope that there are still decent people among us. A business that cares. In a world where customer service is failing Baker Street is rising to the top and proving themselves a top performer. The way Baker Street responded to this mistake was absolutely amazing and I can not say enough good things at this point. James and his staff created a fairy tale situation for my mother and I am forever grateful! The party was better than anything I could do and the attention to detail was unmatched. Thank you Baker Street and we'll see ya'll soon!

I was sure looking forward to a good experience and great food after a long day a work. I called about 6:30 to reserve a for 1 in the dining room and was told 9:30pm was the earliest I could be seated. However about 8:15 I was called and informed my table was ready. I rushed to get dressed grabbed and Uber. When I arrived I was shocked to be seated in the bar area, which I don’t like because I tend to be neglected. Unfortunately that stood true here a Baker Street. My server was great, prompt with a great attitude. I ordered a salad and a single crab cake as a starter. The salad came out quick however no crab cake I was told it was right behind the salad. 20 minutes later my ribeye and sides show up all crammed together on one small plate. Steak was cook good and tasted good but hey still no crab cake. Finally after talking with my server I told her my disappointment about not being seated in dining room, my starter not coming out correctly and the food looking thrown on a plate. She told me that yes today was not a good day for them and she was get a manager. This manager had been at one table for the entire meal talking and trying to sale a bottle of wine. Finally my server got his attention took him to the back and he came to my table with my crazy ale about halfway through my steak. It was hot but dry it tasted rushed and not great. I have two bites. I tired to explain everything to him but he acted like it was my fault I wasn’t seated in the dining room, well I called ahead and told them I was willing to wait about 3 hours but I guess that wasn’t enough. When you spend $100.00 on a meal for a single person you expect to have great service, with everything put together or at least fixed in a timely manner or at least an apology. This manager made me feel it was my fault and the only issue was the crab cake. Unfortunately that not the case. This establishment need help in a lot of areas especially in at the kitchen pass and the managerial department. Highly disappointed and I will...

Anniversary Dinner, not a great experience. My wife and I have gone to Baker Street for our Anniversary for the last 5 years. I've always had an excellent experience & left positive reviews.

Made reservations as usual, maybe I'm wrong, but I hope that would get a decent table especially when noted as an Anniversary. Nope, right out in the middle of the restaurant with zero privacy & barely any separation from the other tables.

We didn't order an app (nothing looked appealing this time) no biggie, moved on to ordering our steaks, a Filet for my wife & NY Strip for myself. Our salads & bread arrived everything fine so far. Then the steaks arrived & I could immediately tell something looked off. There was a layer of salt covering the top of our steaks, this was never an issue in the past & just looked weird. I Initially scraped a bit of it off, but it was too late a lot of it had already melted into the steak. I cut into my steak & it was cooked as ordered so I tried a bite, the only thing I could taste was salt, nothing but salt, it was just awful. The absolute worst steak I've had. Tried to scrape a bit more off of the top but that wasn't working. They completely doused the tops of our steak with enough salt for 20 steaks. Aside from the steak, our sides of whipped potatoes & asparagus were completely cold. I could totally look past that if the steaks were amazing as normal, but not this time. I sent mine back, somehow my wife managed to eat hers.

I was offered another option, but at that point my wife was mostly done with her steak & it would've been easily another 20 min for a replacement. The manager came out & apologize but basically said that the steak was supposed to be that way. Not at all what I was expecting.

To leave without eating an entree & still with a bill over $100, I'll think twice before coming back again & certainly find another location for our Anniversary dinners. I hope Baker Street hasn't lost what...
