Cassandra's Taste of Sweets — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

I just found out about Cassandra's tonight at a CWOW fund raising event. When I found out she makes southern style desserts, and most importantly she makes banana pudding, I knew I was going to buy some! I bought some at the end of the evening, after I had already eaten more dessert than necessary. I planned on saving it for tomorrow, and that plan held strong for a couple of hours. I really just wanted to sample it tonight, I haven't had banana pudding since I left Louisiana several years ago. Went to Cassandra's after an event at PFW hoping for cookies and was pleasantly surprised to find they had red velvet cheesecake brownies. Absolutely phenomenal and for a great price! The staff was lovely, too - very friendly and considerate. I'm so sad I don't live nearby, but they will easily be a required stop in future Fort Wayne visits. Cassandra's Taste of Sweets catered the desserts for our area PTA Council Founders' Day event. Each item was created with care and beautifully presented/packaged. Cassandra worked seamlessly with the Wayne High School PTSA in planning exactly what they wanted to showcase to our schools, administrators, parents, and other PTA folks.
