WOW! Delicious cookies, terrific packaging and presentation, GREAT price ($1.50/cookie), AND they ship! As usual from me, below are the good, the bad, and the ugly...
5/5: Ease of ordering. Super easy to order online!
5/5: Convenient! There are few things more convenient than being able to order delicious cookies and having them delivered to your door just a week or less later! But their ship is amazing also! Seating, big display case, and VERY friendly employees. One of the best customer experiences you will have have.
5/5: Taste - they taste amazing! These cookies are in-between what I would call a "dough" taste vs a "butter" taste. It's a perfect balance, depending on which cookie you get. Of course their Iced Sugars are the gold standard that everyone raves about, but my personal favorite is the Chocolate Raspberry.
5/5: Coolness factor: it's cool to buy cookies online! it's also cool to go into a shop, be treated amazingly, and leave with delicious cookies haha!
5/5: Terrific presentation. These cookies LOOK LIKE COOKIES. They also look very nice and are big, so it's an impressive first impression. The icing adds a nice touch to the iced sugar, double chocolate mint, chocolate raspberry, and banana nut.
4/5: Packaging - GREAT packaging! They double wrap shipped cookies to keep them fresh and it works, as they stay fresh for a LONG time! One improvement they could make would be labels on shipped cookies. This is a minor issue because unlike another online cookie vendor that DOES label their cookies, the other vendor HAS to label them because they don't look like cookies (they look like clumps of dough). At Cookie Cottage cookies look exactly like cookies (yet soft and succulent!) and it's easy to tell, almost immediately, what each one is. Especially the chocolate raspberry :-)
4/5: Size: Great! Over the years, the iced sugar cookies have gotten smaller. I get it, they're popular, but I remember them being MUCH bigger in the early days when they were in their previous location along Coldwater Rd. For the price at $1.50/cookie, they are the right size, enough that you feel guilty eating more than one!
Cookie Cottage gets a 5/5 from me (WOW!).

Read moreNow located on West Washington Center Road beside Texas Roadhouse! Great location. Easier to find, and a very nice parking lot that Cookie Cottage uses during the day, and Texas Roadhouse uses in the evening. Great building with a lot more show-room and more room for customers. And the tables outside on the front sidewalk are a nice addition and under the front roof. The entrance door is on the left of the front of the building, and the exit door in on the right. You can not see this building from I-69. And you can not see this building from west bound on Washington Center Road until you pass under I-69. Then it is an immediate sharp right as soon as you clear the bridge... If you miss it, that is okay, just turn right into the Texas Roadhouse because the parking lots connect. The restaurant before needed visability and a bigger parking lot. Cookie Cottage is one of those places you will seek out no matter where it is! Yes, they really are that good. There always seems to be a line of customers everytime I go to get cookies! But, the young ladies behind the counter are very friendly & fast and know their cookies! I am literally in and out with a box of the best cookies in less than 7 minutes. Oh! And they now deliver using Fed-Ex 2 day! Fed-Ex is always a little pricey but Fed-Ex service is very good and these cookies are...
Read moreI ordered cookies through the website to send for Christmas. We used to live in Ft. Wayne and were sending to friends who used to live there as well. I sent cookies last year without a hitch. The shipping is astronomical because the cookies need to arrive fresh. When I ordered on 12/18, I expected my cookies should arrive in Kansas City in plenty of time. How embarrassing when on 12/28, my order was delivered, way beyond Christmas, and, after apologizing to our friends for their belated present, I called the company to figure out what happened. The rude woman who answered the phone insisted it was UPS's fault, before she even heard any details from me. When I wanted to investigate, she told me to call back at 12:30. I called back to ask who I needed to talk to and why, and that began the long process of more rudeness, being put on hold for long periods of time, and being disconnected. After three hang ups, I asked to speak to a manager. Wes was helpful and admitted that they were overwhelmed with orders but he seemed surprised that I was not contacted as other customers were. He took my number, telling me that the owners would call me to make things right. I WON'T hold my breath--three days and no call. The cookies are good but were not worth the nearly $20 shipping, rude service, and being a no-show...
