I am writing for the person who is deaf & who has been a long time customer along with her husband and sometime they call in to place an order thru video relay or go eat there.
Last April 2, 2023 she placed an order for 2 fish platters via video relay. When she went inside to pick up her order, she checked in the bag and there were 1 fish platter & not 2. She told them I ordered 2. So they hurried and cooked it. When she arrived home and see inside the fish platter they were very bad burnt and crispy. It wasn’t delicious but taste burnt. It was awful. So she called to speak to the manager and she wasn’t pleasant & refused to refund my money back for the burnt fish platter. And the manager said “I’m sorry!” repeated over and over but never said I will reimburse you back. I even sent her picture of the burnt fish platter.
I called Headquarter explained the situation and they did called the manager. Waited 2 weeks and got no response. I tried to call them (HQ) again and refused to answer my call to give me result. They never return my call.
I am not please with the service I got ripped off with my money for a burnt fish platter. We are both deaf and senior citizens. And this is how we get treated. My husband & I have been a long time customers there. Of all the restaurants in Ft. Wayne’s area we have been treated respectfully and catered very well except CULVER’S. You just lost a long time customers and ripped Deaf Senior Citizens off. Have no respect for your loyal customers. So we will never come back there again because we feel discriminated, ignored and refused to refund our money back for 1 burnt fish platter. Shame & Disgrace that the manager refused after I sent her the picture of the burnt fish platter. Would you feed that to your senior mother or father or grandparents? I am very disappointed in Culver’s Restaurant in Ft. Wayne, Ind. & the CULVER’S HQ.

Read moreCame to this location on November 19th around 1:00 p.m. Ordered our food (ticket #88), was given a table marker and sat down. After waiting for over 30 minutes for our food, went up to the register to ask about it. Was told they lost our order and it would be out shortly. They continued to complete several other orders before ours. After another 20 minutes of waiting went up again and complained to the manager and asked for a refund. They stated they lost our order AGAIN. Was treated like I was an inconvenience to them. When I asked for a refund, they only offered coupons. When I told the manager I didn't want coupons as I would not be coming back, he said "fine, give them to someone else." I turned around and gave them to the next people in line. We eventually got our food after about 55 minutes of waiting. Would never, ever, ever recommend that anybody go to this location unless you feel like waiting an hour for your food and being treated like you don't exist. If it was a very large or complicated order, I could see how it could take a while, but it was only two burgers, fries, and a cup of custard.
