My husband and I went to have lunch earlier this week. This is our second visit to Crescendo. We had a less then stellar visit to put it nicely. First off, we order two sandwiches and two cups of soup. We order the chicken crunch sandwich, that was very good. We actually enjoyed it. I ordered a ham sandwich and I specifically told the gentleman I did not want whole grain mustard, which he did make sure he listed in the order. We also order a cortado. When they called our order up they had both of our sandwiches at the bar waiting. When my husband when up to pick them up there was only one. My husband mentioned he thought that maybe they had put mustard on the sandwich. When they called my name again, I went up to pick up my sandwich. The guy that made the sandwich, said " I messed up on your sandwich, but I fixed it. I put a new top". I said "great thanks". To say the least, he didn't fix it. He just scraped some of the mustard off of the bread and left the rest of the mustard on the sandwich. But the cherry on top to this whole visit was the cortado. It was terrible!! when we went to take it up to the cashier that was standing at the register, we explain we did not liked it. She said "well what didn't you like?". My husband told her, it did not taste like a cortado and we didn't like it. She however felt the need to explain to us what a cortado was. My husband proceeded to tell her, Ill just have something else. He requested another drink. But she just decided to give us attitude. She ask what do you want, my husband told her am not sure maybe some kind of latte. She continue to give us attitude. She rang up the latte and just stood there, she didn't say anything else, until my husband asked do you want me to pay for it? Read moreI ordered a bacon and eggs sandwich and when I got my order, I noticed that there was no bacon, so I let the waiter know and she told me that she will ask for another one for me. When I got my second sandwich I felt something in my mouth and I noticed that there was a hair 🤢. So I took it to the front and let the ladies know about it and one of them said “okay, we will make you a new one and you will have a refund”, I said that i didn’t want a new one, just my refund. And she said again “we will make you a new one”, I said again that I didn’t want a new one. So she was I think wasting time and changing registers like three times. I think I waited for like 20 minutes. Suddenly I saw one lady having my sandwich ready for me so I was thinking “well, they did it so I think I am going to take it so I won’t be wasted “ but when I was about to say something, that mean lady told her “oh she doesn’t want it” and I said “yes I want it” but they didn’t listen to me 😡. Read moreI came here today to order these (with water not included in the picture)however, they served me a cold muffin and the guy asked me if I wanted it warm and I said yes. But the lady served me a cold muffin instead and I approached her and told her that she had served me a cold muffin. Then, she saw me touching it, (because it’s damn cold as ice almost 😅)and the ladies, (workers) whispered to each other. And said “I can get you another new one”. ( she was explaining that she can’t get it back or reheated it or make it warm because of health policy which I understand. And I said “oh, okay.I’m sorry” (which I should not be the one who will apologize)…. There’s nothing wrong here (I’m actually okay with it because I got 2 muffins 1 is cold and one is the new one which is warmed) but a poor focus on the orders and not paying attention is bad.
