🤯😲🤩: It's the most high tech and most beautiful integrated Park you ever seen in the Midwest... you think you'll assumed peace of Heaven or Paradise somewhere especially nowadays. Outdoor ping-pong tables they even have corn hole outside they have a few play areas for children they also have toboggan and canoeing and you can ride anything you want on the River ski boats boats but no fishing here not directly in front of the park go down the river about a half a mile or so either way then you have at that and they have Trailways that run in and 2 out here we have over a thousand miles on the Three Rivers Greenway which is at Railway that runs through Fort Wayne the largest county in the state of Indiana which is Allen County and if you don't know a little history here that Fort Wayne used to be the capital Indiana many many years ago before Indianapolis if we had the largest county for 1 most beautiful city in it is in all of Indiana next would-be South Bend I love South Bend it's so beautiful go downtown South Bend and see how clean that place is you going to eat off the ground there and they have water slides they have a sitting area for eating with real metal chairs and tables sturdy very nice will put together they didn't lose any money or waste any money they spent money to do this there is also a walking or riding or biking Skyride that rides were about maybe tenth of a mile maybe to a eighth of a mile above the ground about 6070 feet above the ground what else we have here like I said the Trailways run through here on the river they have also in outside Amphitheater which is cool so they can have like a concert on the water or on the shore they even have a outside Concert Hall as well here you can just come in and play or plug in and play they have restaurants also on the side there and they have also indoor and outdoor rental of space for you and your family saying holiday or something like that you want to rent that out it is possible there is a pub here with sells beer Wine and Liquor in the snacks and you know hand food like hamburgers sausages you know stuff like that and there's a outside sitting area around all of that is well beautiful heated and air conditioned bathrooms that are outside they have expensive lawn chairs to sit in all around here there's also running water like a waterfall that runs through the park itself as well and there's also steam that comes up there's all kind of landmark sculpture that are around the park a beautiful bridge that they rebuilt with red brick roads and they're still building they have more to build of this park on the other side you just have to come see it for yourself it will blow your mind

This is the best addition to our downtown I've seen in years. Fort Wayne has always touted our rivers as an interest point but never actually had any support to show the rivers off. This park does just that. It took a useless, dirty, unapproachable area and turned it into a shining star. You can now see the river and finally appreciate this part of our city. Some of the new features are boating off the dock, lounge in the many seating options, kick back on a swing, visit the brewery, go to the kid park, or the splash pad, walk the tree top canopy, hang out by the amphitheater where there will no doubt be plenty of music acts and activities. The greenery, the fire pits, the seating, the activities, its all been so well thought out and our city should be very proud for this park. I have been twice since the opening this past weekend and I plan to go back again this week. I can't help but get excited about living in Fort Wayne when I see a park this beautiful. I know the city will continue to upgrade this park with water fires, events, festivals, and upgrading the street nearby with commercial businesses. This park is a great place for people of all ages. I can't wait to bring visitors here to show off this new addition...

A Real up and coming attraction for Fort Wayne's growing and evolving downtown area. We rented a Canoe through #fortwayneoutfitters and enjoyed a couple hours paddling Southwest on the St. Mary's river in the early afternoon hours on a sunny day. We opted to row Southwest to enjoy the beautiful natural areas with an urban backdrop in that direction and found it to be "just a bit more outdoorsy" than the Northeast direction which appeals a bit more to those who may enjoy more urban scenery, with natural highlights from a vantagepoint that can only be acquired from the river. Fort Wayne is Truly on the right track with the addition of Beautiful Promenade Park, to Lawton Park and Headwaters Park, all located along the St. Mary's River. If you're planning a canoe ride, on the St. Mary's River from Promenade Park, be mindful of the northeasterly flow of the river winding its way to join the Maumee river which continues in a northeasterly direction all the way up to Toledo, OH. So if you row southwest, you can count on the current to assist you as you row back to where you started...

I recently got married at Promenade Park. It was a perfect and gorgeous venue and so inexpensive! We held our ceremony on the historic Wells Street Bridge and our reception in the Pavilion. Andrea was easy to work with and helped us with all of our questions. She was also very flexible with the number of times I added more hours to our reservation. We were a little disappointed that we did not have any choice in our alcohol vendor since the park had a contract with Trubble Brewery but the catering vendor list was more than suitable. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an iconic Fort Wayne feel. Photo cred to Valerie Joy Photography
