This is the best addition to our downtown I've seen in years. Fort Wayne has always touted our rivers as an interest point but never actually had any support to show the rivers off. This park does just that. It took a useless, dirty, unapproachable area and turned it into a shining star. You can now see the river and finally appreciate this part of our city. Some of the new features are boating off the dock, lounge in the many seating options, kick back on a swing, visit the brewery, go to the kid park, or the splash pad, walk the tree top canopy, hang out by the amphitheater where there will no doubt be plenty of music acts and activities. The greenery, the fire pits, the seating, the activities, its all been so well thought out and our city should be very proud for this park. I have been twice since the opening this past weekend and I plan to go back again this week. I can't help but get excited about living in Fort Wayne when I see a park this beautiful. I know the city will continue to upgrade this park with water fires, events, festivals, and upgrading the street nearby with commercial businesses. This park is a great place for people of all ages. I can't wait to bring visitors here to show off this new addition to Fort Wayne.

I recently got married at Promenade Park. It was a perfect and gorgeous venue and so inexpensive! We held our ceremony on the historic Wells Street Bridge and our reception in the Pavilion. Andrea was easy to work with and helped us with all of our questions. She was also very flexible with the number of times I added more hours to our reservation. We were a little disappointed that we did not have any choice in our alcohol vendor since the park had a contract with Trubble Brewery but the catering vendor list was more than suitable. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an iconic Fort Wayne feel. Photo cred to Valerie Joy Photography

One of the largest parks in Fort Wayne. The tree top walkway is nice and offers great views of the city and river front improvement progress. It could, however, be cleaner in areas and something done to curb the homeless population from loitering. We're lucky enough to have a new homeless shelter and a lot of programs in place to help people, I wish they were more utilized. I've been to larger cities and it's not even as big of a problem there as it is here. Regardless, a must visit if in town. There is usually at least one local food truck and I love supporting local.

My dad and I took part in the grand opening concert last night and this park is across the board fantastic! The play area for kids is full of interesting and unique play things. A canopy walk in the trees is a unique and wonderful addition. Having a stage on the water beneath the Wells Street bridge is such a perfect idea! From the architecture and sculpture to the brilliant use of the riverbanks themselves, this is such a wonderfully designed and perfectly executed park. I am so excited to see this and so many other beautiful things coming to my city!

This is a new park along both sides of the St. Marys River in downtown Fort Wayne. It has a user friendly designed for the entire family. It has a brewery for adults and a splash stream for kids. Kids also have fantastic play area on the north side of the river and a beaitiful tree lined elevated walkway the entire family can enjoy The south side has a dock for boats while the north side has floating dock where you can rent canoes and kayaks. Well done. The east end has the Harrison St Bridge while the west end has the Antique Wells St Bridge.
