So me and my fiancé went to the Hollywood drive through tonight for dinner. Neither of us have ever been and it’s been roughly 7 months since we’ve been able to go out to eat to a sit down restaurant. She ordered the Sam smash burger and I ordered the big Fort Wayne. When the food came out we was handed the wrong burgers. When I repeatedly asked my server if our food was right she kept saying yes. My fiancé took a bite of “her” burger it was pink which caused her to throw up we had learned she actually was eating my food. Our sides was in the wrong plate . Our burgers had the wrong add ons on it cause they got burgers mixed up. We had ordered fries with cheese and the cheese was burnt on the fries making them un edible. I have been in the restaurant industry for 10+ years and have never had this big of a mess up and a server that is that incompetent. When I asked to speak to a manager to get the burgers taken off or some type of discount we were told our server was the manager. In all we order $57 worth of food and the only thing we was able to eat was alittle bit of our other appetizer. We finally decided to tell the server (manager) to just make everything to go when she brought out the correct food. We had chose to eat there cause it’s close to home and had great reviews. But for our experience tonight it failed to meet any mark of...
Read morePoor planning. Wait staff packed the small dining room with mixed groups of customers, who were quietly visiting as they ate, then added multiple families with small screaming children. Plenty of room to spread people out by also using the larger wide open area, to the north end of the restaurant, which was not being utilized at all. I won't be back. I'll go to fast food and save more than half my money. I just wanted a relaxing meal and didn't get it. Chicken was overcooked (very greasy with 2in. puddles of grease on my plate, really dark chicken, it appeared to have been cooked twice). Wait staff inexperienced. It's called a drive-in, because it still has quaint drive-in carhop service behind the building. BUT, also has expensive steaks n seafood in a 'not fast food' setting of oak walls, nice tables and carpeting. They needed to spread out the customers, as there was plenty of room. They also needed to let the younger very loud customers be in an area where they won't disturb the other dining customers, and where the parents know they can relax, too. Just hectic. Needs a dining room manager to organize the dining experience for everyone, or change to fast food n let it go. Was always a favorite place for the Sunday specials of chicken or swiss steak. Was hectic, not...
Read moreThis was our first visit to this establishment, we had carside service. First, the good. The waitstaff here were pleasant enough, nothing exceptional. The wait was not too bad, we were brought plenty of napkins/condiments/silverware. We ordered the country grilled porkchops dinner, greenbay burger, a cheeseburger and Mac and cheese sides for me the grandbabies. The Mac and cheese tasted off, spoiled. I didn't eat mine and didn't let the kids eat there's. Even on a good day I wouldn't recommend this side for an adult, it tasted like kraft macaroni and cheese out of a box. So, the grilled porkchops. Headscratcher. I thought I was getting grilled porkchops, but I got lightly breaded and fried chops. They tasted ok, just unexpected. Maybe the word "country" in the title should've tipped me off, but I would think country fried would be more appropriate than country grilled. The green Bay burger. I did not taste this, but my husband said it was dry, tasteless. Considering it had the Mac and cheese on it, probably why he didn't like it or finish his meal. Granddaughter ate a couple of bites of her burger. Not sure if it's the rona, or the fact it was Friday 13.. but I wouldn't recommend this place and will not be back. Very disappointing when food is so bad it's not...
