Tried a sub. It was nasty. I don't know how long it had been sitting there, but the outside of the bread was hard as a rock, the inside was mushy, and it was just the grossest thing I've eaten in a long time. I didn't understand the ordering system and asked if I should put an order in at the screen, and the guy said to take the one from under the warming light. I asked how to pay or where, because the signs said to pay first. He said just take it up to the front and pay, so I did. Ignore the signs I guess? Read moreListen some gas stations have food some gas stations have just fried food...but Elmo's could be their own standalone pizza/sub place. They took the local experience of a pizza joint and put it in the convenience of a gas station. Out of all the Elmo's locations I've never had a bad meal and I've eaten it pretty much all of them. If you haven't given him a try they're not like a typical gas station food they're more like a pizza place who happens to be next to a gas station. They have wonderful wings amazing fries and their subs are to die for.my daughter likes to stop by there for breakfast for breakfast burritos. No matter which one we go to it never...

My friend got the TJ's chicken and hers was so old she couldn't even bite through it and those cost about $7 for a 6" sub so that was about $15 wasted 🙄 just order your food fresh from Elmo's and you'll...
