Hardee’s — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Went through the drive through dec4th. Ordered off of their “pick four for six” portion of their menu along with a kids meal and a combo meal. The price seemed super high so after I paid and received the receipt, I was baffled. I was charged full price for the items that were on the menu in the four for six portion of the menu. It happens we are all humans. So I kindly apologized to the young lady at the window and said there must of been a mistake and I was met with a “well uh you didn’t say you were getting the four for six so what did you expect me to do”. And she slammed the window shut. So I waited and she came back and started handing me the food. I asked if they can just refund the difference of the price I paid and the cost the four for six should of been. She said no. And slammed the window again. She eventually opened it back up and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came to the window and I explained the situation and asked for a refund for the difference in the price for the items. She said no. We can’t and don’t do any refunds. The only one that can is the gm and he’s obviously not here. .. I have never heard of that. How are u not allowed to correct a mistake. I’ve been in customer service for years and this is the first time I have ever heard of a manager not having cash handling abilities or ability to fix errors. Most unorganized cluster I have witnessed in 65 years. Watched customer return her meal not once but twice because it was wrong. My grandson irdered chicken tenders but received cheeseburger instead. Watched another g et oup return a box of food because it was wrong then watched another older lady receive her meal she threw her hands in the air picked up her box to take back to counter saw they were busy so threw her box on table and walked out without eating.After eating i told grandson I was going to speak with manager to let them know what was going on. Young girl at register asked if she could help me i told her i would like to speak with supervisor she turned around did not day anything then went out into seating area came back to register took customers order looked at me and i said still waiting for supervisor. She looked at m ed like I was speaking a language she did not understand she turned around again and stood their a man dressed in black came up from the fry area to grab some boxes I assume he was the manager she called him Brett i believe he did not acknowledge her and went back to fryer .Young lady turned back around and asked next customer if she could help them at that point I left decided if that was their idea of customer service then this us my way of communicating with manager. I love Hardees food but will never visit this store again at corner of Washington Center...

Last time I ate here it was really good, so today I was deciding between Dairy Queen and Hardees. So we decided on Hardees. What a big mistake!!! We wanted the smaller size burger combo since it was close to dinner time and ordered the "single bacon burger combo". The large lit up sign said the price was $6.99. Not bad. So I ordered 2 for us both. The total the gal told me was $19 and change. Well 2 times $7 is $14 so I asked why over $4 more. She said the register told her the price (which is not what the big sign says) I complained and she called over a young scrappy looking kid with a mop and he rang it up again. Same thing. I couldn't believe it. So I assumed they'd make a price override or an employee discount to make the price match "as advertised" Nothing they didn''t care that the price was wrong or how unhappy we were. So I canceled it all and we went to Dairy Queen on Coldwater. I told the order taker and Mgr about Hardees experience and they were also surprised . Turns out they made a mistake (Dairy Queen)and didn't charge me for a cheeseburger combo, just the burger. I asked to pay more and they wouldn't take any more money. Free fries and a soda. New stack burger was delicious. . NOW THATS PROFESSIONALISM. No more Hardees for us. Dairy Queen always!! Thx...
