Failed customer service.
Petty greed. Questioned my motivation on requesting the replacement of a missed bag of chips from a large order 2-3 weeks ago.
When I discovered the chips were missing originally I called and whoever answered the phone just said mention it next time you're in here and we will get you taken care of.
So, I did just that, today. I mentioned it while placing my order. The girl who answered the phone said just mention it when you get here and we'll get you taken care of.
when I arrived to get my order it was not very busy and I confirmed with the cashier the situation about the chips. She actually looked in the bag and her exact words were 'yes both bags of chips are in there.'...and handed it to me.
When I got to my vehicle that was not the case. There was only one bag of chips. I confirmed via my receipt that I had again paid for a combo that included a bag of chips and was without my extra bag of chips from the previous situation.
I had not left yet so I went back inside and presented the situation to the cashier. She looked at me bewildered and baffled and had no idea what I was talking about. As if I had magically appeared from nowhere. I then turned to another guy who was also involved in the earlier conversation. He immediately pulls out some little book and starts flipping through it asking my name. Well obviously caller ID gave my name so I don't understand why you're looking things up. I then questioned again while I was still standing there waiting for a bag of chips that was rightfully owed to me. He said he needs to now speak with a manager at which I replied why?
He just said give me a second and turned around walked 4 ft and addressed a person who apparently was a manager who hadn't stepped up yet during this entire situation to address the matter.
She then walks over and begins to question me herself. She also starts digging through the little book and asking my name and information. That is when I just said why are we still standing here discussing a simple bag of chips that is owed to me? I've lost more money standing here waiting for you to resolve this matter then it would have been to just buy a bag of chips. This isn't a matter of me trying to get over and get a free bag of chips. This is your people don't know how to do their job and couldn't put a bag of chips in a bag on a to-go order.
I had been extremely calm, very friendly, and very polite up to that point. she then starts to question me getting upset about the situation. And told me that if I was going to be upset that they weren't going to do anything for me.
Being a business owner myself, and especially this direct identical industry I will give you a word of advice...This is when you just hand the customer the bag of chips and apologize for the inconvenience because you have to at this point realize how stupid the situation is.
I got my bag of chips. You lost a customer for good. You have also sparked a level of motivation in me that is going to increase my determination to reopen my restaurant and compete directly with you in this market and eventually...
Read moreThe location is cash only while the internet is (still?) down, and the employees are happy to try and "get you" if you don't have cash. I was turned away 6/4/24 for it being cash only although I offered a couple solutions. Regardless whether or not there were any work arounds the employees were quick to shoot down any ideas and tell me "tough luck". I understand that they are having issues but the employees are obviously having a hay day not having to help any of the customers, and the environment feels very unwelcoming to try and offer business to. I came back 6/5/24 with cash and they tried to shoo me away as I walked in the door because they are cash only, and then proceeded to grumpily make my order, take it down wrong, and charge me more. I tried to submit it online and as the internet is down it wouldn't go through, so after coming in and ordering they charged me 7 dollars more. How does that make sense? I even brought the sheet that had my order on it with the total. It doesn't help either that I knew they were cash only so I tried to call in my order over the phone and they refused. They aren't busy I showed up to 8 employees on their phones in the lobby. I understand that this may not be usual practice but if you are asking your customers to work with the staff and the circumstances, I think it's fair to ask the employees to do the same, and at the very least offer an apology about the inconveniences. Terrible experiences both visits, and I will be making sure to let my coworkers and the neighboring offices know that they are better going to any of the other sub places nearby where the employees will show they care a little about...
Read moreCame here for the first time with my sister I walked in nobody’s at the register to take our order. They’re sitting there looking at us while we’re waiting for someone to come get our order. Someone finally comes up to get our order, his name is Lucas, no greeting or anything. I’m getting attitude from Lucas. Mind you I did not come in with an attitude. So straight off the bat, I’m getting bad vibes. The customer service is terrible. So once we pay, my sister and I go sit down mind you we also get no receipt, in their defense, I forgot to ask for one and I didn’t notice until my sister said something but either way they are supposed to give you your receipt, he didn’t even ask. So my sister and I are waiting for our subs and they call an order and it’s not what we ordered so we continue waiting after about five minutes. One of the other males present that night says “is this not you guys’s sandwiches?” So of course we tell him no that’s not correct and then we told him what we ordered and he says “well they rung you up as blah blah blah”. So we’re like OK well, that’s not what we ordered so he’s goes back to make it and he says and I quote “i’ll remake it for you, but I’m telling you right now you’re not gonna like it.” I would call the manager but from the reviews that won’t be helpful and besides nothing ever happens about these situations. That being said I am trying to save you a terrible trip...
