Starbucks — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

My cousins and I visited this Starbucks this evening. The coffee was wonderful and service was good. My cousins and I do a lot of Christian 4-part harmony A cappella singing together, so tonight as we were sitting in the corner we decided to sing one of our songs together (we’ve done this before at a public place, including Starbucks, and it’s never been an issue) The barista named Makayla came out and very disrespectfully interrupted our song and told us they closed in 15 mins, we acknowledged what she said and went to finish our song, and Makayla promptly interrupted us again and told us we may not sing. So we stopped and left. So this is for you, Makayla. Jesus loves you and so do we, Jesus desires to have a personal relationship with you, he cares about your soul and where you will spend eternity after this life. Someday, every single person WILL meet God and will give an account of the things they have done and said. My prayer for you tonight is that you would find peace with God and that the next time we come and sing a song you can actually appreciate the song we sing. What makes me sad tonight is that we live in a day and age where we can’t even do stuff like this anymore and that there is more respect paid to the Gays and Lesbians than there is to Men and Women who love the Lord and want to live a life that is pleasing to God. While always busy, this Starbucks location has great service, a fine staff who diligently work to serve a quality hand-crafted beverage and an impeccably tidy store. I don't visit this store as often as others because I'm not in this area often, but I highly recommend it.

My order was a Pumpkin Loaf slice and a Venti quad-shot White Mocha. My server was a lovely young asian woman who was upbeat, and provided excellent care with my order (they had accidentally made a Grande but she caught it and asked the baristas to remake my drink). She explained the slight delay and we chatted briefly until all my items were ready. The baristas were quick and efficient in that correction.

In no time, I was driving off with a delicious drink and snack, along with a happy smile for my day. And the people in line behind me didn't have much wait time added to their morning at all. I wasn’t going to write a review but I’d thought I’d share my experience. I was having a terrible week. Thing after thing were not working in my favor, Friday I went and got me and my co workers coffee & food , I was having a GREAT morning things were starting to look up . As I was pulling out a car sped in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks and resulting in ALL of my drinks and food falling and spilling all over my car. I was HEATED. I had a rage fit (LOL) and I thought for sure my day was ruined. Went to work and my friend convinced me to call and see if they could replace it bc why not? It wouldn’t hurt to try. Sure enough , they were so pleasant and understanding, they didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience and it honestly made my day. I thank all the lovely workers for being patient with me and being considerate!! It made my day and I hope this helps show people that being kind goes a long way in...
