Urban Greek Street Food — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Familiar Greek dishes and probably some things you've never had. Urban Greek is curbside pick-up and delivery only. They operate out of Cosmo's kitchen. Parking is located on the north side of the building. I called in a curbside order last night of: 2 bowls of Lemon Rice Soup, 1 Urban Platter, and Baklava Rolls. The bowls of soup were larger than I expected. The lemon flavor was prominent but not overpowering or acidic. There was a good amount of plump grains of rice, and the soup had a thick consistency. The Urban Platter was big enough to split between 2 people, especially with the soup as a starter. Per their own description the platter had "gyro meat and marinated chicken breast served with rice pilaf, spinach & feta pie, fresh tzatziki sauce and pita bread." I definitely recommend the platter for getting a diverse range of foods to try. Everything was fresh, tasted just fine. I've had a lot of Greek and Mediterranean food, so there wasn't anything here I hadn't had before. I couldn't possibly place an order without including the baklava! I hadn't seen baklava rolls before; our order came with two of them. I was an immediate fan of the roll versus the usual triangle-cut pieces, as the roll was a lot easier to pick up and eat. Each roll seemed to be around twice the amount of baklava as the pieces I've gotten elsewhere. I think this may have been the best baklava I have ever tasted!
