My boyfriend and I were out visiting his sister and decided to try this place, based on the "supposed" great reviews. I ordered the Eggplant Pamigiana, with fettuccini Alfredo on the side and my boyfriend requested the Chicken Spinach Alfredo Pizza. According to the menu, both of these entree's included a House Salad. After taking our order, the waiter started to walk off, without even mentioning the salad or dressing request. Since I am dislike some dressings, I asked about the salad and that's when we were informed about the Italian House dressing, to which I replied I would prefer Ranch on mine. It seemed to take a considerable about of time to prepare the salad and what we were finally served was a bowl of lettuce, with one olive each and dressing on top. I dug around in my bowl to see if there were any other items, which is when I found the olive, but nothing else. After a couple of unappealing bites, I moved it to the other side of the table. Eventually, our entrees arrived. I attempted to cut a piece of the eggplant with my fork, but it seemed a little tough, so using my knife, I finally managed to get a bite and the only thing I tasted was the Marinara sauce. It was EXTREMELY overpowering. After scraping some of the red sauce off the next bite, I managed to get some eggplant on my fork, which was tasteless and overcooked. I moved the whole portion of eggplant off to the side of my plate and just ate the fettuccini, which was ok, but nothing special. My boyfriend said the pizza was ok, but again, nothing special. The waiter was rude and never did come back to ask how our food was of if we needed anything. I know my boyfried likes red pepper on his pizza, and the other tables had little containers with Salt/Pepper, Parmesan Cheese and Red Pepper flakes, so I got one from an adjacent table. I had just finished my meal, when my boyfriend expressed a desire for another glass of wine. The waiter came by, picked up my plate and left, did not say a word, even though my boyfriends wine glass was empty, I finally flagged down another waiter and requested another glass. Our waiter brought the glass, but did not apologize for his inattentiveness. In summary, if you are looking for overcooked, overpriced, bland food, rude wait staff and a noisy atmosphere, by all means, visit...

I’ve always heard great things about this Italian Restaurant chain but never had the chance to try it until this past Sunday 9/19/21. The food was good but everything else at this location was just a mess and very disorganized.

I understand the times we are in today with the pandemic and all and nobody really wanting to work anymore which makes it really hard on those who actually do show up for work and try to still make an honest living, but I’m not real sure all that was an excuse for the poor service we and others most likely received this past weekend.

Getting greeted upon entry here was weird and took forever. There was only 1 young lady who was the bartender I believe that was greeting and seating everyone on top of doing all of her regular duties. Eventually after waiting about 10-15 minutes staring at our menus awkwardly, our waitress showed up and took our drink and appetizer orders. It took way too long for her to come back to our table to finally take our food order and you could clearly tell she was frustrated and stressed out but not directly at us. It’s not a big deal but we never received our salads and bread before our meal and she made things right once I pointed this out to her. We never really got any more of her time or attention after that though. She was busy greeting and seating customers also but not with a nice welcoming smile or anything good. We only saw 1 other waitress the whole time we were here. There was a man who would come out and clean menus off up front and seat a few customers, but he wasn’t very friendly either.

This location started to get a little busier as we were here and I felt sorry for these people coming in because nobody was properly greeted in a timely or friendly manner. They also stood up front awkwardly waiting for someone to notice them. I’m not real sure who the manager was or what was going on here with their service, but we weren’t happy with this location at all and not real sure if we would recommend this one to anyone.

I’m not usually one to criticize quickly publicly, but I felt like these issues needed to be addressed so management can see and make necessary improvements if possible. I hope things change here and...

We eat a lot of Italian food and we love the food at Campisi's. In fact, it would probably be our absolute go-to if they would fix their really poor food delivery service.

We order delivery mostly, so this review does not apply to dine-in service, which has been without issue each time we're there. We'd order more frequently from Campisi's if we could count on a stress-free experience. Unfortunately, about 50% of the time this isn't the case.

At the end of the day, they're delivery is really slow. I mean sub-par slow, but that's ok, because we prepare for it each time we order, but still...

About a year ago we were promised a 7pm delivery when we ordered. We called a couple of times when the order hadn't arrived by 8pm and then again about 30 minutes later. We were told both times our order was still in works and would be on its way momentarily. When it hadn't arrived by the time they closed, we had to call back only to find that the order went with the delivery driver but, since we were last on his final stop of the night, he decided to pocket the food and keep it as his own. We didn't get our order at all. Campisi's took care of it later and, since they blamed it on their driver, we shook it off and didn't hold it against them.

We ordered recently. Once again, they took way too long to deliver and, when the food finally arrived, my wife's entree was missing, so while my daughter and I ate our food, my wife waited patiently. It finally came and we received a free piece of tiramisu, which was nice.

As mentioned, some sort of issue happens about 50% of the time and now we're at the point that we just don't know about giving any more opportunities. We're going to try to find a go-to Italian joint that we can count on. We won't refuse to go to Campisi's anymore. Just not sure we'll order from them again until they can resolve thier longtime issues and deliver within a reasonable amount of time.

Delivery issues aside, I'd give Campisi's a 5-star review for the food, but I'm unable to disassociate the service issues to give what the...

My journey through the evening began with a beautiful server, a vision of elegance whose presence was as warm as it was graceful. She moved with a quiet confidence, as if she were guiding me through flavors, each gesture adding to the magic of the experience. In the hallowed halls of Campisi’s, where shadows mingle with crimson light, I found myself feasting upon dishes that spoke to the soul with an ancient, almost forbidden allure. I began with the Scampi Shrimp, succulent morsels kissed by a delicate balance of garlic and herbs, each bite like a whispered enchantment. They lay upon the plate as though blessed by the seas themselves, rich and buttery, the perfect prelude to the feast. Beside me, a humble chalice of sweet tea, a mortal’s nectar, brought forth the taste of sunlit fields. It grounded me in a sweetness both familiar and timeless, a gentle contrast to the ritual of indulgence that followed. For my main, I summoned the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken, a dish seemingly simple but crafted with a reverence reserved for the gods of flavor. The Alfredo sauce cloaked each strand of pasta like a silky robe, rich and decadent, as if forged in the very fires of culinary heaven. The grilled chicken, tender and seasoned to perfection, was charred just enough to evoke that primal taste of flame, an offering in its own right. With each bite, I tasted the meticulous care, the generations of reverence for tradition, and the unmistakable authenticity that only an Italian kitchen could conjure. Campisi’s, a sanctuary of flavor and heritage, will forever call to me with its mix of dark mystery and heavenly delight. I shall return, bound not just by craving, but by the spell it has cast upon my spirit.

This was the worst restaurant I have been to in a while. We had a 4:30 reservation for 9 people, arrived 7 minutes early, the table wasn’t ready and the place had 1 other table. One of the waitresses that was ‘helping’ to set up the tables was just flat out rude. We asked one or two simple questions about the seating and were met with short curt responses of ‘we just need a minute to set up the tables’ followed by a condescending grin. She was disheveled with messy hair in a scrunchie and later o found her sitting in her phone scrolling. The wine selection is terrible and the food isn’t worth the calories. I don’t suggest wasting your time or money. I will say our actual waitress was very nice and did a great job considering she has only been there for 2 weeks and we were her first large table.

I have seen this place here for years and never tried it. So I finally decided to give it a shot. I'm kind of upset that I didn't go in sooner. Nice place, I went on a Saturday mid afternoon. It wasn't busy, I got sat immediately and our order was taken. They serve you complimentary bread and it was delicious. I ordered lasagna and my wife ordered a pizza so we could take the leftovers home for later. Everything was DELICIOUS, I did opt for the melted provolone on top of the lasagna because WHY NOT. Wife got the pepperoni pizza. It was a thin crust and the edges had a very light char on it and for me... That is perfect. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Service was great, drinks were never empty.
