Just tried to get a Doordash order. Christine and another manager told me they had no idea how Doordash works and said they had minimal training on it. I told them that a female employee or manager helped me last time that doordash wasn't working and they reprocessed my order when I was on the phone with them and she got it working. So then she said it was Doordash who canceled it and not them and that they have been having trouble with doordash the past couple of days when we literally just ordered from them a day ago and it said Chilis canceled the order. Not Doordash. Text proof from Doordash proves it was Chilies. Then I offered her the proof and she said she didn't want it. I then said how are you a manager on duty and have not been trained on Doordash. She had no response. I then tried to order again and the restaurant blocked my order from even coming in or deleted it immediately after I talked with her. Then she said she was going to call doordash corporate and never called me back. Unbelievablely terrible customer service. Train your managers to reprocess the order like the other employee did. That employee should get a raise and the manager should work for Chilies longer before getting promoted. Oh and she said Chilies hasn't had a female manager for over 10 years. Really? You think I am dumb? How would she even know that if she has just recently got a job as a manager there? Oh and it wasn't doordash. I called them and have text proof of it and was able to order somewhere else...
Read moreFirst visit to this Chili’s location tonight. Not my favorite franchise but I can always find something I like on the menu and it’s one of those places where you know what to expect. It was 20 minutes before we saw our waitress, who then jammed herself into the booth next to me. Ordered buffalo/bleu chicken crispers with no bleu cheese, which came out incorrect. They came back out and they had as much ranch on them as buffalo sauce (not mentioned on the menu or I would have asked for it to be left off as well.) I was informed that if they had to put every ingredient in a dish on the menu that it would be 80 pages long, but to me this was something pretty substantial to leave off. They did make new ones though and the food lived up to expectations, I just didn’t appreciate being made to feel like I should have somehow known they were drenched in ranch by the manager so I could order differently. Took another good wait for the server to bring the checks before she disappeared again, the manager had to run them for us. It wasn’t that busy. I appreciated the manager doing his best... we saw him more than the server, despite being mildly condescending.
The one saving grace was our wonderful hostess. She checked on us multiple times when she realized our server was MIA. Brought us waters and silverware, and let the server know we were there again after our initial seating. She was also incredibly polite and apologetic. She should...
Read moreI see a lot of other take out horror stories about this location. When I walked in my food was ready. Underneath the rack was a huge spill what I can only describe as chocolate milk mixed with meatloaf… the gal just kinda side stepped around it like “ah ya just a normal Sunday”. She hastily took my payment and vanished before I could ask for BBQ sauce.
I had the chance at this point to wait for 8 minutes standing and staring into the kitchen while employee after employee walked past the door without even glancing outwards to see if anyone (me included) was needing anything or picking up. After 8 minutes of waiting the original gal came back, and went to go get a single cup of bbq sauce which took an additional 6 minutes (yes I’m petty, I timed it).
During that long wait I saw at a MINIMUM 30 health code violations. This included no gloves and using bare hands to touch raw meat and moving on a line to then cross-contaminate with veggies and cheese. Hair unkept, filth under cabinets and warmers, no storage seemed to have any dates or temps on them, lids left off of queso warmer, and prepping the to-go chip bags and filling them with bare hands. This is only what I could see from the doorway… maybe 15% of the kitchen was visible if that. The place needs to shut down for a day for a complete clean out.
I’m sure the food probably tasted ok, but with the filth I saw in that kitchen I fed my tenders and rib...
