Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Yes, I went through the drive-through and I sat at the ordering menu for at least 10 minutes saying hello hello not one person even acknowledged me however there was nobody at the time behind me so I go ahead and pull through to the window. I am after five minutes of waiting there which there was nobody there so I don’t know why it was so busy but after I sat even there for at least a couple of minutes a young girl and I wish I would’ve gotten her name but this is Wednesday night 820 there was two people there an older, black woman and a young black lady. This was the younger of the two and I explained to her what the situation was explained to her that nobody was behind me at the time and I sat there for 10 minutes waiting saying hello hello so naturally, I thought that the speaker was broke so I pull on through Where she proceeds to tell me that if I would like to go ahead and pull around and wait at the speaker then she could take my order like who does that yeah, I would love to go on through where now there’s now one car ahead of me and I told her no absolutely not. I sat there for 10 minutes. I want two things, but we don’t have those is what she told me which is the wings. OK so just give me the fries and a tea nope, you got drive-through. I said well you realize that I’m about to write a very bad review I don’t care well. I know you don’t because you don’t own the store very very bad attitude. No customer service whatsoever good or bad. I do know one thing, for me to sit there and tell her in detail what my situation was & for her to look me in my face and say, “she didn’t care” is so far out of line, i don’t care where a person is from. To not acknowledge the customer when they have clearly pointed out what they had an issue worth, that’s 110% such awful customer service. I mean clearly she said she didn’t care because it’s not her store and no one has told her that she’s working at a fast food restarsunt and that working the drive through is a big part of the company’s profit so I will say that the actual owner needs to reevaluate who they are hiring because it’s those like her with no people skills that will continue to be the reason I was there for ten minutes without anyone even speaking to me, then have the audacity to act like I’m in the wrong. I wouldn’t go back there if someone payed me. The worse experience...

Racial slurs

The guy at the drive-thru window at this churches was a horrible person... I'm basing it off of his character and, the things he said to me. My only request was asking for apple pie with heavy icing this guy gave me a mouthful of cruel words he went on to say that he was refusing my service although I never argue with him. I never used any profanity he just did not like the fact that I was a black woman that is the only thing I can think of because there was no reason for the words he used and his behavior.

I do not even live in that area I just stopped there to get apple pie after going to another churches not to far from that one the customers at that churches begun to tell me how this guy is always that way with specifically black people. I wondered if he hates people of color that much why place your business dead smack in the middle of a predominantly black neighborhood of course with people like him it's always about the money they don't like you but they love your money hopefully people will begin to see that we mustn't support businesses who treat us this way.

Fried chicken is one of the very few reasons I am willing to exercise. So when I feel like I have burned enough calories to deserve a treat, I turn to Churches. Everything is always perfect at this location. Its has always been clean on the few occassions I didn't use the drive through. The service is fast and friendly. I am serious about service and they're good people doing it right here. The food is always fresh and they will be open and honest with whatever you need to understand about your order. If you want something and the person in front of you just cleaned them out they will tell you honestly, so YOU can decide if you want to wait on cooking times or change your order to stay on schedule. The spicy version of their fried chicken is incredable and saves me a lot of money. Everyone knows about the chicken tenders, and I agree thay are very good but overpriced. The tenders are the reason most people think of Churches as expensive but if you avoid them you are going to get a great meal for a really reasonable price. Finally always double the biscuit order and ask for extra honey and never miss an opportunity to try the jalapeno poppers, or their fried okra which are all excellent and as good a reason to stop here as I could give. And that's saying something because I'm serious about it.
