I went to this place on the way to work because someone posted online how wonderful their strawberry donuts are (I like strawberry donuts !!). I went in and purchased 3 regular strawberry donuts for about $11 with a 15% tip. I was expecting to be “WOW”; thinking these donuts would be better than an expensive donut like, say, Funkytown. I was disappointed. Don’t get me wrong; the strawberry icing was very tasty - but the donut was stale. When I say stale, I mean having the texture of a 2-3 days old stale donut. I ate it, but wasn’t wowed due to the stale, dry texture - but also oily(?). For the price I would rather have a Funkytown donut, or even a fresh one from a typical local donut shop.
Maybe I just went in on an off day; or old stock got left in the case by mistake. I think if they can fix this issue it would be a fantastic donut, because the icing really was pretty good. I wish that I could have a fresher one and see how it is so that I can make a better comparison. Other than that the waitstaff is very nice and it is a cool...
Read moreEdit: this place is going downhill. There's never any communication on what products are available to purchase. If you ask to be contacted if your order is incomplete, no one will call. The girl at the front counter "doesn't know how to do that" so you might want to train her on how to work the phone/computer. I really liked this place when it was consistent on what's available and what's not. I have done web design before & it's not much trouble to pair something like Square this a kiosk to help manage input and output. I'm going to not bother ordering from here anymore because the lack of communication for menu items is so stupid. I live 50 mi away, so it's not like I can just be satisfied w 2 measly donuts when i traveled an hour away for a larger meal. Hate this place now because of the lack of customer service, knowledge & menu transparency....
Read moreBest vegan donuts around if you're a gluten glutton like me 😈 NOT gluten-free NOT healthy NOT made of kale and quinoa These donuts are freaking delicious and chef JP who makes them really perfected the craft. The donuts are sweet, but not sickening to the point the sugar is simply a crutch to cover up how lackluster the flavor is (Krispy kreme) The flavor really punches through, and the texture is soft and fluffy with just the right amount of chew.
Got the kolaches(so good I was afraid it wasnt vegan) Biscoff butter donut Glazed donut Maple donut They were all fantastic and I'll be back for a dozen more 😈 Price is totally fine, $24 for a dozen homemade glazed is cheap in this economy, and $3.59 for a fancy shmancy donut is fine. These ain't no garbage bland...
