(It is a Sunday at 1:30 the 28th of January) I hope a manager or owner sees this and takes action.
The person I talked to when I walked in, who wasn't even clocked in (which I overheard 10 minutes later when I went to inquire about the order.. again), told me, "It's going to be a minute they are still working on it." Then they forgot about me while everyone WORKING had conversations with each other about non-work related things and gossiping the entire time I was waiting. There were like 6 people working, and it was shift change, so there were plenty of people WHO SAW ME and opportunity to speak to me about the order that I had been waiting for.
But no, I went up to the desk and inquired about the order, and they had no idea i was even there for one. Not paying attention to who is in your store, especially someone who had CLEARLY been waiting for 10 minutes.. A girl I'm not even sure was clocked in pointed at the order that was sitting on a shelf that NO ONE had told me about OR ANNOUNCED. It was two "hot" coffees, a dozen donuts, and something else in a bag. I told the person I was delivering to to get a full refund because everything was cold by the time he got it. Not to mention I had to cancel the Pizza Hut order that I was supposed to get right after this one or else THAT order would be cold too.
Unprofessional staff. They're just 18-23 year old kids. The boy who told me it would be a minute then never told his superviser or anyone that I was there for the order, intentionally did not look in my direction when I was telling them I had been waiting so long. I pointed at him and said that I told HIM I was here, but they didn't care. They acted confused and lost, like it was somehow my fault.
This is the service you should expect from kids fresh out of high school. I will not be picking up from here again. Sorry to the one employee I saw frequently who was nice and attentive...
Read moreThis has become a terrible representation of Duncan Donuts. The staff are so rude and disrespectful. I went in with my kids (10 & 13) at about 12pm. We tried to order food, I let my kids order for themselves. The person at the register after I ordered my sandwich, said âis that it? and began to total my ticket, my daughter ordered a donut and a sandwich, and again â thatâs all right?â Again I said no, my son wants to order. It was not until we had ordered everything that she then said they did not have certain bread and just removed my sandwich off the order without telling me. My daughter ordered a different sandwich and when our order came my sandwich want no where. Thatâs when I was met with attitude. I asked about my sandwich and they never told me it was removed. I said we didnât want this other one I wanted my original sandwich on different bread. They attempted to charge me!! I said NO this was your mistake. Then I was met with ghetto attitude and ghetto slang and defamatory comments to me as a man and a person. They even began to talk to other customers out loud. They continued to get other orders wrong, and then began playing loud vulgar music with profanity in the lyrics. DO NOT GO HERE!! The taller employee with reddish colored hair is so rude and vulgar. The other taller female worker is also horribly offensive. Except for a taller male with glasses and a shorter female leader they all...
Read moreI'm a big time DD fan, have an app, and used a lot of rewards from all the money I spent. I buy and give DD giveaways to friends from the coffee, to mug, to a thermos, etc. Just did the drive-thru, I ordered a latte before 6 AM. After I paid, a young lady handed me a straw. I then said I wanted it hot. She looked pissed and didn't say anything; closed the window. An older lady took over the window, I told her that the young lady didn't ask me if I wanted it hot or cold. I don't know why she'd assume I want it cold this early. They made me pull over up front. The older lady handed me the "hot" latte. I pulled over at a nearby Walmart, and drank it.... It wasn't hot. It's lukewarm.
Customer service is def not recommended. For that young lady to avoid the same mistake in the future, she should ask if the customer wants her/his drink hot or cold specially if the options is on the screen. Once she messes up, she should apologize, or at least talk and make sure to tell the customer that they'll make the order right, etc... not close the window and don't even say anything.
This coffee not being hot is such a waste. $6 for a lukewarm coffee that I wanted to enjoy early in the morning. Not going back, not...
