El Merendero — Restaurant in Fort Worth

This is a little hole in the wall Honduran place. They don't speak English*, so don't be mad. We had the Baleadas Con Todos y Aguacate. "Shot with everything and avocado." It's a THICK, GOOD, homemade tortilla with refried black beans, a crema, crumbled cheese, beef, and avocado. It was AMAZING!!! Everything we saw go by looked and smelled AWESOME! If you don't speak Spanish but aren't scared, go try it. If you've got a friend that can translate, do that. If you're smart enough to use your phone, do that. We walk in and the girl just staring instead of welcoming & asking to take a seat. We ask for sopa de mariscos and tell us they dnt have any, we try to order fish, tell they dnt have any. So we order fajita w shrimp. First of all no chips or nothing to keep us occupied for a lil, but gives every other table chips. Went in, sat down young lady brought us menus, and left didn’t speak to us, we waited for a quite a bit she never came back to take our order or ask to see what we wanted to drink, she was just flirting with other customers. Felt a little out of place as every crew member looked at us weird for being there. No customer service, also the menus are all in Honduras, so unless you can read that language I wouldn’t recommend this place.
