2025 Update- NOT COVERING YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU COUGH IS DISGUSTING!

1 star is due to the male staff not covering his mouth as he unapologetically starts to cough in my direction as I checked out. The store ambiance is warm and staff is friendly. But, all I could picture is staff coughing openly over items being prepared.

I’ve seen this behavior when working in the food industry. I have seasonal allergies and tend to have a dry cough during the warmer months. But come on Dude, it’s not hard to cover your mouth to prevent the spread of germs and infection.

They are giving out free donuts for a 5 star review. I paid full price for my items and customers and management need to know if his coughing directly over food. I know his coughing openly towards customers because I witnessed it.

I will say their donuts have always been delicious. I have yet to try their beverages. Just want to give everyone a warning before purchasing.

I work in healthcare and although rare there are people who can get sick because of this disrespectful and unhygienic behavior. I still have patients coming in for COVID as I’m writing this. This is not something that should be taken lightly.

2022 Review-Once again great customer service. I decided to select items I have yet to try from any dount shop. The milk cream and strawberries with glaze cream dounts are pretty good. I tend to go to dount shops mainly for the jumbo sausage rolls which are always great. I learned today that I need to go with the nutella filled dount from the menu. Me adding the nutella is what really sold me. I'm calling the dount l purchased the strawberries with glaze nutella cream dount. This dount would be fire if they replaced the cream with nutella. Might have to put in a special order request next time. I did see homeless individuals and a lady did approach me but that's everywhere I go. While visiting Hawaii, Las Vegas, etc... It's the harsh reality that many people are homeless. One of the employees did ask the lady to go elsewhere and that's all they can do. We all just have to stay alert wherever we go period!

2022 Review-First time here! Dount shop recently opened two months ago.The staff is really friendly and the jumbo It's the harsh reality rolls are the best I've ever had. Let me tell you—I have been searching for my donut place in DFW, and today, I finally found it!

First, the owner and his family are absolutely wonderful and so kind. I was instantly greeted even though I had come in after what I’m sure had been a busy morning. The store was sparkling clean with nice seating.

Everything looked delicious, and I ended up getting a sausage and cheese kolache, a small jalapeño kolache, a glazed donut, and an iced latte.

As I was waiting for my iced latte, the owner motioned toward the free samples by the register. There were free cream filled donut holes and little cups of black tea. I tried the black tea, and it was sooooo good. After asking the owner what had more caffeine (I was planning to study after), I ended up getting the iced latte. We chatted a bit and I learned that the store is celebrating its first year of business this month.

Everything I had was SO. GOOD. They use Hawaiian rolls for their kolaches, which I’ve never seen before (and I’m a native Texan!). The glazed donut was so fresh and totally satisfied my craving. And the iced latte was one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had in my life.

Needless to say, I will be back!!! Thank you so...

Love this place. It's always fresh and really good. I like that they use Hawaiian bread on the Kolaches. The staff has the BEST customer service. Staff is so upbeat and polite. Prices are very reasonable.

I took one star away because a couple of times I've had to just drive off after parking to come inside because there is an issue with aggressive homeless folks standing right outside of their door. And when I say aggressive I mean knocking on my car window as I'm parked DIRECTLY in front of the shop. Trying to ask my child for money. And once a man was having a mental episode where it looked like he was in an ugly argument cursing w/ spit coming out, about to fist fight someone... but he was alone. He was also less than 6 ft from where I needed to get...
