Ipho — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Customer service is everything! This place failed big time. So after waiting in line for about 10 minutes ( didn’t mind the wait time) I get to the counter and I ask what a certain dish comes with since I wasn’t familiar with the dish. She starts explaining and then says to me “ you’re not ready, you need more time”, and calls the person behind to come to the front to order. That’s the first fail. So now apparently I was ready and she proceeds to take my order. I order my food take my number and sit. They bring my food out without any utensils to eat. My friend gave me his fork, but my kids were still waiting for there forks. We asked 3 different people to bring some out. They never brought anything out. At this point I’m ready to leave. The iced coffee that was ordered at the counter with the order was never made. I had to ask a different staff member for it and my husband went to the counter to get it. I took one look at it, and I couldn’t any more. I asked the lady that made to look at it. She said “what’s wrong?” I told her “this drink is mostly ice where’s the rest of the coffee?” She said that’s the way they make them, and normally it’s even less then that. I asked for a refund. I-Pho has been open only a few months, and we were so happy to find it recently. Brought the whole family for delicious pho (even the 5-year old loved the chicken pho). I had the bun-thit-nuong, and it was perfect - the pork was very tender, and all the ingredients fresh. They also have a pho add-in's bar (bean sprouts, cilantro, jalepeno, lime), so you can customize your dish.

Decided to go back for lunch, and tried the Bahn Mi Sandwich (pork sandwich on french bread). The sandwich was wonderful - the bread was soft yet kinda toasted on the outside, and the pork was, again, perfect (tender, and and good cuts). I added jalepenos from the pho bar. Loved the sandwich, and at less than $4 was a great deal.

I recently visited PAPPACHANG I-PHO #1 and had a mixed experience with the service charge and food. Upon checking my receipt, I noticed that I was charged a card processing fee despite paying in cash. Imagine to all thise that dont ask for a receipt?? Additionally, my order for a small lunch with rice replaced by lo mein, a boba drink, and two fresh rolls ended up costing almost $30 due to each item being charged separately. While the food was good, I found the prices to be a bit steep, especially considering the extra charges incurred.
