Elotes Fanny — Restaurant in Fort Worth

My mother and I tried this place on March 12 at around 7 or 8pm for the very first time. They seem to have amazing stuff but the customer service could have honestly been better. We were next in line and I couldn't tell whether or not it was our turn to order because the current customer had only slightly moved the other way, we thought they were trying to look at what ice cream to get or something and the cashier was only standing there looking at us awkwardly not saying anything for a good minute or so. It had to take us to ask if they were still ordering and she replied “no”. I felt like she could’ve said something like, “I can help whoever is next” or “are you ready to order sir/ma’am?” She didn’t even seem very responsive. We asked if there were to-go menus to look at, for if we may want to come back next time and she only replies with “no”, not telling us if there’s any other way or menus to look at to see all good stuff the place might have for us to buy. I would have wanted to know what ice creams they had so I would know what to get next time. They don’t seem too welcoming nor nice to say “have good day/night” or anything at all. If you want to buy some delicious treats, this may be a good place but if you care about customer service, I would say...

Horrible experience as a new customer. I was excited to try this place out but I will never recommend. Poor customer service. I walked in, said Hello. The young lady responded back only in Spanish. Cool. Now my Spanish isn’t great but it’s decent, so I tired my best to communicate in HER language. The young girl at the counter would not attempt to speak back with me nor asked for help translating. I’ve lived and worked in several border towns like McAllen, TX and even in Calexico, CA. I have NEVER experienced the flat out FAILURE to communicate- that’s what happened. It was humiliating, that young girl at the counter deliberately misunderstood everything I wanted to order so I just walked out. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Not because there wasn’t an English speaking person working…it was the lack of trying to communicate and just flat out didn’t care. Obviously this place has to have bilingual workers just reading the reviews but whoever that young girl was…my experience with her felt disheartening. I would give this place 100 stars if that was possible I loved this place very much and will DEFINITLY be coming back i came here for the elotes then realized they had all sorts of stuff and i got the elote on a stick and it was amazing customer service was amazing and the polite man at the front assisted me and the cook was amazingly sweet. on top of that theres a whole BAR full of toppings to add to your elote fruit etc i made a google acc for this exact reason to tell you how good this place is everything was amazing and was authentic i moved to euless and since then i couldn't find an authentic elote and fruit shop and i am beyond excited to finally find an...
