It's been a while since I've been to this location. It used to be my go-to spot, so I figure I'd make a trip to sell and buy some things, seeing as i used to have great customer service and business transactions. I should've read the reviews before going.... I bought in a brand new item still in the package, initially I was asked the normal questions of how much do you want etc. ( At this point, they usually tell you if they can or can't), then another asdociate proceeded to ask if i have the receipt... people bring used items without being asked for receipts. I asked them why she said to make sure it wasn't stolen... again, why don't you ask everyone for a receipt? But any way I abliged and found it only for them to offer me a RIDICULOUSLY LOW PRICE. never showed me the screen or even typed it into the screen to give an accurate offer. Just like the lady said in another comment they treat other races very poorly. Just because the employee isnt educated or knowledgeable about an item then its immediately rejected. For instance I tool a a 20 in Haro freestyle bicycle in amazing condition but was told that it would only bring $10 and said it was a off brand. The woman who works the counter Maria or Mari I believe her name is extremely rude and condescending and she talks down to people. I had to keep my composure because I didn't want to lose my dead mom's stuff so I just dealt with it and made the extension. I will not stop shopping at First cash or Cash America because I love the Como location that's my go-to store but I won't be back to the North side location.
