NO NO NO. This place is sooo bad it is almost comical. Cash only - the rude lady at the front desk will tell you the credit card machine is broke - yeah right. Horribly filthy rooms and bedding. Everything is broken. The hotel is close to everything - but it's not worth it. The air conditioner does not fit the windows and they tried (unsuccessfully) to use duct tape to seal around it. The curtain is barely attached to the wall. The towel rack is broke. No place to hang your clothes. The lamps plug in to the next wall leaving the cords dangling. Three different things plug into two outlets at the sink. Oh - yeah - the cups and shampoo say Wyndham Hotels - so they apparently brought them over from the Days Inn. I do not know how these properties are connected, but I have seen shill reviews where one person reviewed both hotels with high remarks. The bedding was dirty to the point of being gross. This is listed as a 2-star hotel. No way. This is not even a one star hotel. I do not know if there is such a thing as a health and safety inspection for a hotel - but if there is, an inspection would shut this place down.

Non-adjustable showers, limited electrical outlets, no continental breakfast. Though they did make coffee and set out 6 individually wrapped pastries at 10:45. Truly a 2🌟 experience!

I look forward to the reopening of the historic hotel! This is a great place to hang your Cowboy hat after a night in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Where do we start?? Checking in was a OK experience with a young, courteous guy but that is the only good thing we experienced. We went to our room upstairs to put our bags in (no elevator) and were not impressed. However, as we were only staying two nights, we thought we would make do. We then walked down to Fort Worth and spent a few hours exploring. On arriving back to the hotel, we found a very unpleasant smell in our room. We put up with it for an hour or so but it seemed to be getting worse. I then went down to the reception and asked for some air freshener. The woman behind the desk practically threw the can at me and said they had never had a complaint before. We used the air freshener but it made no difference. I was feeling nauseous because of the awful smell, so returned to the desk downstairs and asked for a room change. The woman again was so rude and told me that she would change the room but would not change it again. The room she then gave us was downstairs so we had to lug our baggage down the stairs again. When housekeeping left "clean" towels the next day, one of the towels was disgusting and soiled. Also, we had trouble with the toilet not flushing. Curtains were dirty, air conditioner did not fit in the window, power points hanging off the wall - the list goes on and on. As the hotel is right on the street, it was very noisy with people walking past all night. I would never recommend this hotel. The only good thing was it was walking distance into Fort Worth. Would rather have stayed in the stockyards with the cattle than stay in...

Place is a dump. Room smells so bad could hardly breath . Asked for another room only to have some person on phone say that they were sold out of rooms.. Nasty room had some type of stains on wall that were by sink that appeared to be blood spots or something. Who knows. The bathroom window was broke out and glass all over the window seal. Air vents has dirt and grime running all the way down the wall from filth. Lamp would even turn on that was on night stand. If ceiling fan was on you couldn't turn overhead light on because it would short out leaving u with nothing but a small vanity light above sink. Handrails for stairs don't count on those to save you from falling because they will be going with you on our fall barely hanging on by a screw. Breakfast was honeybuns in a Tupperware bowl. This place is a last ditch effort to try to make it on the stockyards.. and lets not forget the parking. Bahahaha that's a joke we were told to just park in a lot behind building. Well only to he told it was $5.00 a night. And uhhh well hotel dont even have any parking so a guy walks around and tells us to pay him $5.00 a night which at midnight turns to another night which makes parking now $10. Well he gives u a post it note to stick on ur dash. I mean uhh ok. Wow this place is a total DUMP.... and there is NO BREAKFAST AT ALL NO MATTER WHAT THEY TRY TO TELL YOU... STAY AWAY. Room #13 is room we stayed...

Horrible experience. Maid knocked on door every 10 minutes in the morning, even with the do not disturb sign up (1-2 hours before checkout). At one point she tried to open the door to such a degree (didn't just turn the handle and walk away, spent several minutes shaking the door to try and pry it open) that my husband had to jump out of bed to keep her from entering our room.

The manger/owner is extremely rude. They are very aware that they are the only affordable option in the area, and it shows. Worst customer service I have ever received.

We have to come back to the area for a friends wedding, and thinking maybe the first experience was a fluke we decided to try it again. Myself and my husband called 6-10 times, and every time the "manager" (same rude lady as before) told us to call back because she was outside. I called once more last night, and got the same story "I'm outside, call back later". After telling her this was unacceptable, and that I would not be calling back and needed to make my reservation then and there; She took my number, rushed me off the phone, and said she would call me back. Of course I never received a return call.

It's worth the extra money to go elsewhere.

I'm amazed that they are still in business with how hard it is to get them to reserve your room and...
