Long John Silver's - TEMP — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Me: "I'd like the baked cod basket." Drive-thru attendant: "Mmrph you wah rhy wuth at?" Me:"Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding you. Are you saying fries or sides?" Attendant: "Just pull up to the window!" (Like I'm a jackass because I couldn't understand him mumbling through a crummy soeaker) Me: (reacting to the annoyance I perceived in his voice) "Nah. I don't think so." And so I left.

I drove out of my way to try some Long John's today. The Mexican guy working the drive thru at 12:15 p.m. sounded like a jerk, so I moved on. Hey, man, it's not my fault no one can understand you. Fix the outdoor speaker, or even better, enunciate the way you did when you treated me like it was MY fault for not hearing you clearly.

I waited until I calmed down enough, then drove back, went inside, and made an order to go. The young lady I dealt with was courteous if not a little put off by my face. I was trying to smile (she was friendly) but not succeeding. I was imagining having to confront someone. The drive through guy walked past behind her. Same voice. Same guy. Sounded nicer talking to whoever was in the drive thru.

The cod was overcooked a little. When I arrived home I found they didn't give me my side of coleslaw. Not worth going...

So we pulled up and there was nobody there as far as customers I knew then there was a possibility that I might get cold fish and that's exactly what happened and worse yet she reheated the fish with burnt oil so now it was terrible see the pics of the chicken that my wife ordered the whole batteries just came off and it was one greasy piece of rubber the waffle fries were cold and she claimed that she would have to wait on the waffle fries and refry the Fish and Chicken one three-piece fish and one two piece chicken came to $27. This is very overpriced. And then we got terrible product and terrible service I will never return to this Long John Silver's ever again I am a Captain D's man, as they aim to please even if Long John Silver's was to give me a coupons or my money back I would still not visit him after this I cannot say enough about how bad this place was. The lobby was filthy and the staff complained about working there all day. Save yourself time don't go here go to another Long...

The fella at the register was as disinterested in taking orders as a snail crossing the street. Absolutely no personality, and he didn't try to find one. The family before me ordering was nice and patience with this terrible order taker. Thankfully a gentleman stepped in with some personality and understanding of making a good impression in regards to food and business. He was charming and deliberately working hard for this company. There was a woman who was asking questions about the orders, being that I didn't want my order fried hard, she emerged from the back with her shirt up on her back, which was showing her pink and red panities...personality zero as well...actually everyone except the aforementioned young man with a personality was absolutely horrible....
