Raw chicken and filthy lobby. I went to went dinner with my family thinking it was going to be delicious and clean like before. We went inside and were immediately greeted with flies everywhere and the trash bins overflowing. Having it being 2 hours before closing we didn’t think much about it and went to order. We waited for a while and I saw the workers in the back engaging in some sort of horseplay while others were on their phones near the fryers and food. A young lady with blonde dyed hair took our order so rudely and impolitely. I am a manager in food service and a customer should never be treated like that. Instead of making our order, the workers went to the back to talk amongst each other and be on their phones. I did not see anybody wash their hands after touching their phones. And multiple workers had their Bluetooth earphones in. My daughter went to fill up her drink at the fountain in the lobby and 2 different sodas were out. The countertop was dirty and full of random spills. The lids were all over the place. We struggled to find a clean table to sit at due to most of them having dead flies on the windowsills, crumbs, and hair strands. If health inspection had seen the state of the restaurant and the flies, they would have been shut down. We were so tired and hungry that we just sat down and ate finally, hoping that the food would be better and worth the experience. The chicken breast and sandwiches were good but the biscuits were very old and hard, I couldn’t even eat mine. My husband was eating his chicken thigh when I noticed that it was raw and gummy still. I work at a restaurant that serves chicken on the bone and even I know that the chicken he was served should have never left the kitchen. Luckily my husband has a strong stomach but if a kid or immunocompromised person had eaten that, they could have gotten salmonella and have serious illness/hospitalized. I took the chicken back to the counter looking for a manager and the cashier went to look for them in the back for a while. When she came back she told us that they were in the restroom so I waited for more than 5 minutes. The manager never came back nor showed their face. If I could, I would leave NEGATIVE stars, we won’t be coming back and I will call the health department. Horrible experience, we were left...
Read moreI recently visited the popeyes located on altamesa Blvd in Fort Worth. With the worst customer service. I typically do not like to complain, as I understand staff shortage. I asked for four number 10 spicy sandwich combos, and was given four chicken tender baskets, as I always check my order. I then called the restaurant which had a closed lobby, and was told kindly that I must come around the line again. I asked if there was a way to avoid the long wait line, and they said no, as they were short staffed. I come around, get to the speaker and told them again my situation. He then proceeds to say "Just come around the window, and will get you taken care of" I proceed by asking, do I stay in line or just come around the window?" He then says, "Just come around the window", so I got out of line, came around the window, and thought maybe my order was done?. I waited parallel parked next to a car the window, and finally got a guys attention at the window. I asked if I could take the wrong order to the window?, and he very rudely replied, "No mam you have to get back in line, we can't play favorites here". I replied with, "well it's not my fault you guys gave me the wrong order". I then cut in front of a kind lady who I explained my order situation. I get to the window with not one single "sorry about that". 8 minutes i get my cold sandwich and fries, with no sorry again. I forgot to mention the guy who initially gave me my drinks at the window, questioned my order like 4 times, and never handed me a receipt. 50 minutes later I'm finally headed home. With the worst service ever. We understand there are staff shortage, but this was beyond. I know this message may or may not be heard, but at least I attempted to make myself heard. I'm glad I had the time to write this long message as I wait in line...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! BAD FOOD QUALITY WHEN IT'S COLD, DRY AND HARD. Never again will I eat at Popeyes. The Drive thru service is horrible. Arrived 9:01pm and waited in street. The 5 cars ahead of me had parking lot blocked. At 9:08 finally had room to pull inside lot. 9:15 the car in front of me left. 3rd car made it to the speaker. I could hear her complaining that she was there earlier and after waiting 30 minutes the first time her order was missing items when she arrived home. She asked if she get can her whole remade and correct and the girl told her No. She then asked to speak to manager and finally agreed on something. Car in front of me finally made it to the speaker at 9:27pm with a coupon but the girl told her they only had certain chicken left and that was her only option. Lady also asked for a chicken sandwich and the girl said there wasn't any. I finally made to the speaker at 9:34pm and told the girl I had a online order. She said I had to wait in line till I made it to the window. After waiting another 20 minutes I made it to the window at 9:54pm. Unbelievable! Then had to wait another minute before she gave me a watered down coke and cold food. Now there was about another 5 cars behind me while I was at speaker but one by one they left. I believe I heard one yelling while driving off saying after waiting so long they didn't want to make more chicken. This was about 9:45pm so he had to have been waiting 30 minutes. Only one car behind me got an order. So for the last 30 minutes Popeyes was open they lost at least 7 customers or more. Why say your open till 10:00 if your not going to serve customers especially after making them wait 30 minutes just to get to the speaker. And your online ordering is a joke if we have to wait in the drive thru line again at least 30 minutes....
