I love Raising Canes, I’ll never stop going to them. I used to work for them when I was 16; 11 years ago now. This particular Raising Canes seems to always forget at least ONE thing :( Or they dont take my order correctly. I used to work around here so I came to this one frequently, and used drive thru mostly. Im not exaggerating when I say it was always at least ONE thing, whether they got my drink wrong, forgot to put the sauce on the side on my sandwich, forgot to give me an extra sauce or honey mustard. And I really love Canes. I remember when a Caniac Combo used to be $11.90 WITH tax. Now its about $19ish. Everything has gone up in pricing except our salaries, so you understand how annoying it is to come here for lunch and always have ONEEE thing wrong. :( People spend their hard earned money here.
I came here Saturday September 13th with my mom at 4:42pm in the drive thru. Had to repeat my order, no problem at all, I wanna make sure its right! I NEVER come out to eat anymore, we have been trying to be healthy and cook at home, so I was super excited to eat my favorite fast food. it was a sandwich combo with the sauce on the side and butter on the bun with an arnold palmer, and an extra order of fries, an extra sweet tea (with extra ice, my mom requested) and an extra sauce. In the drive thru, they actually gave me a half and half tea instead, but I was like you know what its fine, its less sugar, probably dont need that much sugar anyway. Even though an arnold palmer is extra cost because it has lemonade. No biggie really. But then when we started driving home, i checked to make sure they got my moms sauce and put my sauce for my sandwich on the side and not on my sandwich. No extra sauce… and the sauce is on the sandwich. Bummer for me, still its fine its whatever, I’ll just call to notify someone and maybe get some free food because my order was entirely wrong and I never go out to eat anymore! i was upset that my favorite fast food place got my order wrong and I probably wont even be going out to eat again for a while.
Called the store, asked for a manager, the guy who answered said sorry after I explained everything, and he asked me if I would like to come back or just get a refund. We were already almost home, so I just asked for a refund. He said okay but then he passed me off to a lady, in which I had to explain everything again very patiently and politely, and she asked me again if I wanted to come back so they can re-make it, or if I want like a voucher for my next meal to be free. I said no because we are almost home, and I dont live around the area, I was visiting my mom so its not my usual Raising Canes. She said “okay, so here’s what we’re gonna do, since it was the drink mix up and they didnt give you an extra sauce, i’ll refund the drink and fries—“ and my mom snatched the phone and told her my sandwich was incorrect, and I think I snatched it back immediately because my mom can be less patient than me, so I explained again that the sandwich was wrong too and I’d really just appreciate a refund for the whole order. It was just $16, but like I said, I dont go out to eat often, and I was so excited and ready to eat Canes because I havent had it in a while. It really was just the principle. Obviously the people who work here dont know whats going on in everyones life that comes through the drive through, but I would really just appreciate if the employees here could pay a little more attention to the customers because everything is becoming more expensive and when people spend their hard earned money, they want to get what they came for. Now, the ticket DID NOT say that the sauce was supposed to be on the side, nor did it have the extra sauce on it, but I DID tell them I wanted both things, the cashiers just didnt input my order correctly. I wouldnt lie about that 🤷🏽♀️ Why would I? And they DID ask me for my name, and asked if i had the sandwich combo, and we said yes but that was it. Its not that serious but its the principle, again!
What if that was my 13th reason?!😩😭 pls...
Read moreI’ve been to this Raising Cane’s over 10 times, which says more about me than it does about them. Every time, I ask—very politely—to replace the coleslaw with extra fries. Every time, I get the normal amount of fries, like some kind of deep-fried Groundhog Day. I hold the box in my hands, hoping against hope, only to be crushed by the familiar weight of standard fry distribution.
This time the guy working the counter knew after looking at my meal and then into my eyes.
I want to like Raising Cane’s more than Chick-fil-A. I dream about waking up one day and choosing Cane’s with confidence, but my heart knows better. The chicken is good, the sauce is good, but somehow, it just never quite hits the emotional void left by a misinterpreted fry & Coleslaw swap.
That said, the sweet tea? Divine. Liquid redemption. It’s the kind of sweet tea that makes you forgive people who’ve wronged you. Like whoever packed my order. Again.
Anyway, I’ll probably be back next week hoping they’ll give me the double portion...
Read moreMake sure you keep your receipt and check your order before you leave if it’s “to go”. This is par for any take out place, but we did not check our order and don’t know where the receipt was when we got home with $40 in meals and only had 3 of the 5 meals we ordered - again, our fault for not double checking but it was crowded and LOUD in there, it was raining outside so we were in a hurry. Got home with 5 drinks but hubby had to go back for other meals and had to prove he even bought anything from there by showing the manager his bank account (young person behind counter did not remember us being in there 20 minutes earlier). Same young person repeated the order back to me exactly so I know he input it correctly. Anyway, I know this establishment is new, but this service is not appreciated at all. Again, partially our fault, but feel my husband should have been treated more cordially after driving all the way back to get the meals for our children that got left out! Food was still...
