Yummys Gyros — Restaurant in Fort Worth

My daughter has been asking to try this place for a couple weeks now so we decided to stop in today. I had checked prior reviews and was surprised to see they had a fried chicken gyro and I have never seen that on a menu before. I got there and met the owner who was super nice and answered a couple questions I had about different menu items. I ended up ordering 4 orders of the fried chicken gyro combos that come with Greek fries and a drink. The owner said that I would have to wait a little longer since I was ordering the fried chicken and I had four orders and I said that was fine. I think we ended up waiting possibly 10 minutes which is nothing. When he handed us the bags of food I could smell the garlic from the fries and it smelled so good. We got home and unpacked the meals and were pleasantly surprised at how big the gyros were and how much meat was on them. I have never tried Greek fries and wow, they were awesome. You almost never see a food establishment with such high reviews and THEY EARNED IT!! I spent a year doing foreign exchange in Germany and became an expert in döner/gyros, and this is the best gyro I’ve had in the states. The ingredients are perfectly proportioned. The meat is high quality and not overcooked, the vegetables are so garden fresh they pop with every bite and the sauce is perfectly complimentary and not overpowering. When we lived in New York these Platters were more accessible at every street corners, Since moving to Texas you either have to stick to halal guys or a typical Mediterranean Restaurant. This food truck is a great alternative if you just want to grab and go. I definitely enjoyed our combination plate. I ordered a gyro and chicken plate and everything came out yummy.
