After Reading all the Bad Reviews and being from out of town of 260 miles away, I must say I strongly disagree with them and Found first that the Food was Made to my request, and my Son's Pancake was with a special face with additional Small Pancakes for the Ears, very nicely decorated. The Service was Above Average and the Greeting was Promptly received, the Price was Average for a small town. I do have one agreement to Some other Reviews: in that the Oil used for the HashBrown Potatoes to use a Corn oil is not a good idea for Frying as much as using some Fresh Olive oil in your skillet will bring out more flavor in those frozen potatoes. All in all, it was good Food and enough to feel us up... Will be back as you should...
Read moreThere's a brunch of reasons that this place is a Don't Miss if you're hungry for breakfast or lunch: large square plates with CLEANLY presented dishes nicely presented, perfectly cooked--exactly as ordered! and superbly flavourful, the way these dishes are supposed to taste; very reasonably priced, AND with an outstanding server who checked on us three times during the meal, plus refilled our coffees twice. Read moreThe Redwood Café is a fun little brunch spot. I'll start with the only problems I had during my visit: they couldn't cook eggs sunny side up correctly, and overcooked the ribeye steak. They were super good about fixing the eggs and had some replacements out in a minute, with no sass to boot! The California burger and veggie omelet were solid. Price is reasonable and the wait times were good. It was a little busy so the older protestants waiting for a table were moaning and groaning about the wait time, but overall if you have a bit of patience this is an excellent place to stop in when youre going...
