The Playground is cool, There is a little one for the litter kids and another one but for the bigger kids who are older. I go here frequently, and I like it more than Newburg park. Newburg park is fun and all but..A WHOLE ON SKATING RINK NEAR THE PLAYGROUND AND AMAZING TRAILS?!?!?!!?! I want to badly rate this place 298473829 stars! The trails: The trails are nice to go on, you mostly will see flies if you pick up a big stick but its ok!! It's normal nature. There is a bench doodled with butterflies and a drawing of a rat with cute fingees! I LOVE how the people who drew on it kept it respectful though, only cute drawings and no cuss words! However did that, the drawings are neat but i don't know if your supposed to draw on the bench.. There are many wood houses! That's atleast what I call them, there is many near the bench with drawings! It should be right in front of you because its the wood thingys and you can climb on them! There is also one nearby that looks like a couch. HEY PPPST IF YOU SEE A WHITE WOODEN STICK WITH RANDOM STICKS THAT ARE SHARP STICKING OUT BUT THE WOOD IS RED INSIDE AND ITS CHOPPED IN HALF, I WAS FIGHTING IT WITH MY PET STICK I GOT AT THE TRAILS!! THATS A MARK I WAS THERE :DDD Also I kept hitting the rocks that said "trail" on it haha, nothing harmful the stick I own isn't powerful enough but powerful enough to snap the stick I was fighting in half. Can we talk about the scenery, like warm cozy but pretty and you need to watch your step cause its kinda spooky at first with all the big steps you need to take, but you'll get used to it! VISIT IT OFTEN!! :D I recommend going on the trails...
Read moreMy kids, dogs and I love this park. We have been going since I was a little kid. Their play structures are old but great. Not all run down like Sequoia Park in Eureka. A bunch of dog owners use this park but they are all understanding of the "pick up after your dog's poo" rules also unlike Sequoia Park. You have to keep your dog on a leash but it is still a good place to take your dog, if they are other dog friendly and people friendly. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone stopping threw. They have a big kid section and a little kid fenced in section. Very good park! Hardly any creapers or homeless wandering threw. Definitely stop by this park if you have kids. There is a nature trail in the back that everyone will love, a definite must do. Very nice walk threw...
Read moreGreat park, lots of stuff to do. Walking the trails, kid playgrounds, large grass area around the park, and a separate area for basketball, baseball, soccer, or even track 🏃♀️🏃 There is two parks one for younger kids which is fenced and equipped with slides swings and a small climbing hill. The other park has that and more for older kids. There's what seems to be an excersing area aswell. Restrooms are available. Tables around the playgrounds and even grills. Beautiful view of the redwoods!! A couple of bridges along the river that make walks more interesting. ✨️Dog friendly and even the occasional sheep, goat,...
