Indian food is our absolute favorite. When we moved more than an hour away from our favorite place we were bummed to not have our pretty regular Indian date night dinners. So when I saw this place while out to lunch with a friend I was excited to go home and tell my husband. Tonight, we made the decision to try it for the first time. We decided kind of late, it was almost 10pm before we got there, and as we were getting there they were locking the doors. We motioned asking if they were closed for the night, they unlocked the doors and welcomed us in. They were incredibly kind the whole time we were in there, we ordered our food to go, and they gave us mango lassi's to drink while we waited. They made the food hot and fresh for us even after closing down for the night, and they made our first experience a fantastic one! This has become our new place, and we are SO excited to have a new date night dinners place! The food is phenomenal, absolutely top notch flavors. The mango lassi's have the most wonderful mango flavor, sometimes lassi's are yogurt heavy but these were fantastic! The Lamb Tikka Masala is wonderful, full of flavor and the level 3 is a great spice while keeping the flavor, for me anyway. 𤣠The samosa chaat was very good as well. It was all very very good, we'll be back time and time again and we'll recommend it to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is amazing. I was nervous about the appetite for Indian cuisine in Fortville but business seems to be steady. The food is authentic, rich, flavorful and full of the entire spectrum of Indian spice, from warmth like cardamom and garam masala to straight heat.
The garlic Naan is insanely good but keep a breath mint handy for afterwards, no lie. And youāll want a double order to sop up all of the rich, velvety tikka masala sauce.
I also ordered the Lamb Biryani, which I didnāt like as much, but it wasnāt what Iām used to. Iām certain the flavors will be well suited to other eaters, and the lamb itself was delicious.
FYI the mild still carries its own weight here, so Iād approach their higher heat levels with a firm awareness of who you are...
