McDonald's — Restaurant in Fountain Inn

The staff are always friendly and accommodating! We have traveled and lived all over the USA and I am proud to say that in my town is the best McD's bar none! The location is always clean and consistently busy. For fast food, I'd honestly rather wait for fresh hot fries and a hot burger or breakfast sandwich, then to pay and be fast served a cold meal. Regardless of whether I go in or go through the drive thru, my order is always correct (even with my picky son's needs) and hot. My soda is always bubbly and never sitting there with half melted watered down ice. If you happen to wait a few extra minutes, the manager or your order taker will throw in a surprise like a hot apple pie. They do it on the sly and never announce it. A week ago I was craving chicken and only had 2 dollars and some change. I went to Bo's first because I figured I could get a breast and make 2 meals out of it. Seriously how much could 1 breast cost??? I'll tell you $3.33. Now is that a good price to have half for dinner and make the other half into chicken salad. Yes. But I was annoyed and frustrated with myself And Hungry. So I thanked Bo's and left. I went to McD's and I got a chicken sandwich from the value menu as I didn't even have enough cash to use one of their coupons. I inquired about fries on value menu and instantly was told size, price and price with tax. I said no thank you just the chicken sandwich. I said to the drive thru that I couldn't see the whole value menu and I didn't have enough change on me but she was very helpful. By the time I drove down to the 2nd window to get my order, the other girl said as she was handing me the bag that her manager put fresh fries in along with my sandwich. I was so thankful and thanked her profusely. She had no idea that the last time I had eaten was 5am that morning - 2 pieces of toast with cup of coffee - it was almost 10pm when I arrived at their window. I was famished. It was hot and fresh and I was filled up in soul and stomach lol. This is not the first time our Fountain Inn McD's has blessed us, and it goes further than the workers. Even the patrons have paid forward. They all help me to remember that our town is a good town with good people. I have paid it forward too. Blessings Abundant to all 2018. Happy New Year! Upon walking in the door was greeted with another customers rear shinning at us as she sat at the bar table. Then we ordered as the self serve screen and sat down. Was approached by a worker saying we could not have what we ordered because it was no longer something they sold. So my question then is why was it on the menu. The floor was sticky and i went to wash my daughter's hands and there was grim on the bathroom door. We got our food and while eating I see what appeared to be the manager slinging her lose and long pony tail around the kitchen. The worker that approached us was leaned over the counter reading a magazine. And about our food. Despite being told we were getting fresh burgers they were tough and like they had been in the warmer for a while. But we were hungry. I had a side salad with my burger that took 10 minutes to get to me after we got the rest of our food. But it was fine despite that. I went to order 1 large fry. Seeing multiple already prepared in the boxes. 3 people standing their on their phones and reading magazines. It took 5 minutes after ordering to get my fries. And only after I pulled out my phone to see the time and loudly said how long does it take to put one of those fries in a bag? . Then what I got was cold, some still partially frozen, unsalted fries. I had high hopes for this place but I am in disgust at my experience. After talking to someone else that I know goes their more frequently he said they always smell like pot and get his order wrong so my experience was one up from his. He just goes because it's the closest one...

Went there yesterday morning 10 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast they pulled me up saying they were waiting on my hashbrowns which takes 2 1/2 minutes to cook 20 minutes later they’re asking me what did I order? When I told them my order they gave me everything except one sandwich but by the time I realized I was missing a sandwich I was already home about to feed my 4 kids…but because I live 8 minutes from the store I went back with my receipt and the food and requested for my food to be made over by the time breakfast was already over and I had no choice but to get a refund because the black manager with the purple shirt on refused to make it over kind you my breakfast items I had DEFINITELY could of been made over! The only person in there that understood and treated me decent was the white woman with the tattoos on her arms she was GREAT them other employees customer service SUCKS being a manager of my own McDonald’s store I thought I would have a good experience but I thought wrong something needs to be done about this because I’m not going to pull to a drive thru order my breakfast just to be sitting for 20 minutes and I can’t get it done over? I want something done about this if not I will keep leaving reviews everytime I have a bad experience there...
