I debated on sharing this review, but I think the owner should know. Saturday, January 11 2025, my family and I decided we would like to have dinner at Cucina 100 in Fountain Inn South Carolina, the area had just went through a light winter storm but The roads were clear so we didn't mind traveling for a delicious dinner. I checked online for any adjustments to their normal hours and found they would be open until 9:30pm. It was 6:30pm so my family headed that way. We arrived at 7pm happy and hungry only to be turned away by the hostess saying they were closing at 7pm. Confused my family and I turned and headed back out, as I exited the back I decided I wanted to let the manager know about there hours updated for the weather online so that others would not travel far for a hot meal to be turned away. I went back to the front to ask for a manager which the hostess quickly walked over to a table that I had previously walked by where a semi-bald man was enjoying his dinner! He got up from the table upset that I had bothered him while eating his dinner! I showed him the post of his adjusted hours due to winter weather his response was quickly defensive “That was the other manager we close at 7!” to point blank start a blame game is unprofessional! You should know what hours are scheduled when you are the one in charge no matter what! I'm not sure if this is the owner but in this economy don’t expect to stay open long with that attitude! Our family runs a business right down the street from yours so we are in you neighborhood quiet often. Word of mouth travels fast!!!! Had you offered maybe to let us purchase a pizza or something to go since the restaurant was still full of people and food was still being prepared I would gladly say you handled it in a professional manner but it was not handled that way so I give you a ZERO for effort given. On the other hand we got to try out Vaughn’s warehouse where they stayed open until 11 that night. We had delicious food and hospitality! Do better...
Read moreI do not normally leave reviews but unfortunately I must for this past visit. This is normally one of our few go to places. We love bringing family and out of town visitors here. This past Thursday evening we brought our family in from out of town here to celebrate the adoption of our new baby. We sat in the very front table and chairs by the front door. Receptionist was very nice but that is where it ended. Our server who I will not name was the worst waitress I have ever had here. She forgot multiple items that we asked for including our drinks. When we did ask for the items that she forgot she acted as if it was a huge inconvenience. My wife , her aunt and uncle all had bar beverages, not once were they asked if they would like another. She never brought our bread out even though we asked twice. I had tea, had to ask for a refill and again she acted as if that was not part of her job. She went missing on multiple occasions but we could see her in the back room by the beverage station vaping. This happened more than once. Vaping while serving is unacceptable, especially when the entire table including my 16 year old daughter can see. We could see our food sitting and ready and again our server is by the beverage station vaping, then grabs our food and delivers it. Couldn’t remember who had what. When we were finished and my wife’s uncle asked for the check she was very sharp with him saying she is getting it with a definite annoyed tone. Our plates from appetizers to salads to our main course were never cleared and when we wanted to go boxes we had to ask more than once. We do not have a high level of maintenance when we go out, we totally get that servers are busy and we are very mindful of this. We will come back because we enjoy Cucina’s but I will ask for a different server next time. This woman needs a new job or a new attitude , which ever...
Read moreWe tried the restaurant shortly after it opened and were completely underwhelmed. I figured I'd give it another try and went again last night. It was about 7:00 and they close at 8:30 so the horrible experience can't be attributed to being close to closing time. Waited an unusually long time to be greeted and seated. Everyone thought sweeping was more important than customers. Finally seated at a sticky table and had to ask for it to be wiped. It didn't help so I attribute the sticky to the finish on the wood. There were about seven or eight people eating but all of the waitstaff were frantically walking around and acting as if everything was hectic. Not a very relaxing atmosphere at all. Our server immediately came to our table but she informed us she had something going on and would return for our drink order in a couple of minutes. Ten minutes later she finally returned to take our drink order but because of how long we waited, took our entire order. The mozzarella appetizer was served quickly and very delicious. The side salad was fresh and crisp but the dressing was watered down to the point of it having the consistency of soup. My wife ordered lasagna and I ordered a deluxe pizza. My wife's lasagna looked fantastic but still extremely cold. The cheese on top was melted but the inside was fridge cold. My pizza was quite possibly the WORST I've ever had. Flavorless and dry and the underside of the crust was cooked but not under the cheese and toppings. Everything felt like nobody cared. Fifty dollars may not be a lot to you but it is to us and I expect...
