9/18/25 - Pretzel was delicious as always and everyone's meals was decent. Chicken however in my salad and my daughters meal was super chewy and fatty. This place can really do with more qc.
8/8 - Ate here with the family today. Service was excellent like always, but a few misses on the food tonight. The okra we raved about is finally on the menu, but their sauce had no flavor this time, it tasted more like a thousand island. The buffalo chicken flatbread is always a banger. We tried their eggplant parmesan this time and the eggplant was really good. It was not salty, nor bitter which it can sometimes be, but that marinara.....it was way too sweet. Luckily it wasn't acidic, but they are certainly putting some type of sweetener in it. It was NOT enjoyable. Spent 18$ for two slices of eggplant, disappointing.
7/20 Update - stopped her for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing. The okra appetizer was delicious and should be a mainstay on their menu. Everyone loved their meals, but I will call out their chicken marsala. I love a good marsala, usually oil or butter based, but when I received my meal it was covered in an Alfredo/cream sauce. No where on the menu says it is creme based and due to a dietary restriction due to medical reasons, I can't eat heavy creme based dishes. I was really disappointed as I could not eat it and paid 19 for it. I would have sent it back but it took over an hour for our meal and we had to go.
Stopped here finally and they did an amazing job with the decor. It is a nice space. Our server was great. He was attentive, gave great menu suggestions, just an overall great waiter.
The food was a mixed bag. The pretzel and cheese sauce was great and the Buffalo chicken flatbread was amazing as well. However, the Reuben was surprisingly flavorless. The meat was bland and hidden behind a buttery, toasted rye and 1000 island dressing. Lastly, the burger was good but the bun to meat ratio was off. It was a nice bun but too big for the sandwich as everything...
Read moreFarehouse is easily the best restaurant in Fountain Inn. And that's not lip service, that's a fact. From its bright, warm, inviting ambiance, to it's to-die-for Filet Mignon (they even made mine Pittsburgh rare), it becomes more beloved each time I visit. All that to say, I'm not even mentioning the best part of the Farehouse experience: the amazing staff. Reagan is the friendliest and awesome if you have the pleasure of having her wait on you. Jasmine is great too, and she always has a smile. Summer is a real one and guaranteed, your glass will never be empty; she takes care of everyone. I've also had the pleasure of lounging at their one-of-a-kind, sprawling bar. It is exquisite. You will find some of the best bartenders around. Anneliese is absolutely 💯 on getting you a well crafted cocktail asap. Nicole is hilarious and makes you feel right at home. Mike is awesome at listening if you've had a long day and quick with your drink. Aaron is just about the best bartender around, with quick witted humor, he's like an old friend the first time you meet him. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention another favorite, Courtney, the restaurant manager. Curtney Boo Thang, as I call her, will always make your day better when you see her. She will always kindly greet you and crack jokes all day. She's a major reason why Farehouse is such a wonderful restaurant to visit because she has brought all these great waitresses and bartenders to serve you. So if you are in the Greenville area, do yourself a favor and visit this enchanting...
Read moreMy first and last visit. My family and I attended a birthday dinner here. I had high hopes for this place. The atmosphere was wonderful. We were part of a larger group. The waitress came out strong. She greeted us and had a plan to wait on us. Drink orders were done first. The waitress then took the tables order. This is where things went south quickly. My husband and I both ordered the Philly cheesesteak. We ordered our child a chicken tender plate with fruit. The waitress asked what side we wanted with our Philly. One side was fries, the other truffle fires. We also ordered loaded wedges for our appetizer. 45 minutes to an hour later food slowly started showing up at the table. The waitress rarely returned after taking our order. There were several other employees who brought foods. No one received refills. Thankfully, there was water on the table. My husband's Philly came out way before anything else. He finished his meal long before our child's and my food came out. Both were made incorrectly. Our kids was an easy fix. My whole order was wrong and would've needed to be remade. By this time it had been well over an hour that I waited for food. I told them it was wrong and to just remove it from the ticket. Our loaded wedges came out near to last. We had one guest at our table who got their Philly after all the other food came out and everyone else had finished eating. There was no manager or anything that ever came to the table to see what was going on. This was a very...
